I have to say this is the best tour in Bean town! I went on the Duk Tour a few days later with my coworkers and there was no comparison, the Duk tour touched on only a fraction of what Wayne shared. I booked the private running tour because I couldn't make the regular tour times, but I'm really glad... More

If you like running, it is the perfect thing for to do. we had a 18 km run, talked all the way (we'll, Wayne did almost all the talking, I've tried to breath..), and it was the best run I had in a long time. I've learned so much about Boston, and had a very good and different work out.... More

My husband and I visited Boston for the first time and thought doing a running tour would be a great way to see the city while getting a workout in. The tour was awesome! We had Wayne as our tour guide and he knows so much history of Boston. Our tour was tailored to what we wanted to see and... More

If you are a runner, you cannot come to Boston without signing up for a Run Boston Tour. Wayne was super accommodating with my schedule as I had limited time during my business trip due to extended working hours. He took me on an awesome 9-mile run, showing me historical and contemporary attractions of the city. He took some really... More

I purchased a private tour as a father's day gift for my dad and I - he is an avid runner and American history buff. Our freedom trail tour was great including 14 of the 16 stops along the historic route, and Wayne was an excellent tour guide! He offered a lot of interesting info and had a great attitude.... More

We had a tour with Wayne. He has a great knowledge of the history of the city. Running in the heart of the historical parts of the city was a bit tough with all the people, but Wayne made it a lot of fun and we got to stretch it out a bit at the latter half of our run.... More

It was my second time running with Wayne!! Enjoyed it so much the first time, decided to run again. It's always fun to have someone to run with especially when it's a long run and you don't know where you are. He pointed out new areas and made sure I was safe ! Recommend it highly!

Wayne, the Chief Running Officer of RunBoston, was so informative and friendly that I hardly noticed we were running the hills of Boston. He has stories about every area or landmark we saw, either running by or stopping to look, and is engaging in his commentary. He was terrific at keeping me to my pace and goal distance. And he... Neighborhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
