The best part of the tour was how Collin made it a personal journey. He pointed out Boston's connections to Roxbury and about the rich Roxbury history as well as it's current cultural and cuisine revival. So much better what the big tour firms offer.

Collin met us in a timely manner at the start of the tour in Roxbury. The tour is a walking history tour of Roxbury that is about 2 miles and we choose the food and beverages options. Collin is very knowledge and passionate about Boston history and we learned so much on the tour that it didn't feel like we walked 2 miles! The restaurant Collin recommended was delicious! I would highly recommend this tour to those interested in Boston and Black history!

This young tour company offers an outstanding experience in visiting neighborhoods in Boston you may never have heard of - but should! Collin is a local with passion and knowledge who is all about introducing folks to his neighborhood. I'm a walking tour guide myself, and I am wowed by the way Collin frames his Roxbury tour as not only a history tour, not only a "foodie" tour, but also an insightful introduction to the neighborhood's changes, struggles, and victories during the past few decades. How many tours can you go on where, within a few blocks, you can view a 400-year-old burying ground, visit a Caribbean supermarket run by the grandchildren of its founder, browse in one of the only black-owned bookstores in Massachusetts, witness the preservation and transformation of 100-year-old hotels, department stores and rail stations, and sip fine beverages at a distillery's tasting room? I am eager to take more tours with Collin and to introduce more friends to the neighborhood he has opened up for me.

After living in Boston for over 20 years, I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to discover the history, culture, architecture, food and beauty of Roxbury! You can really see the strong community and Renaissance happening there, and Collin’s knowledge, passion and pride in his hometown shine through. This isn’t your typical stop-point-click-next tour. I felt really immersed in this vibrant community - the past, present and future are all woven together in Collin’s narrative. Definitely made me want to explore the area more. And we’ll certainly be signing up for Collin’s other tours. We did the Roxbury Food and Liquor walking tour. We got our steps in! This is an accessible tour with fantastic food and drinks. Great for groups. Don’t miss this opportunity!

My family thoroughly enjoyed this tour yesterday. Collin is very personable. He and my husband vibed and shared information. Collin is very knowledgeable about the history of Roxbury. The tour was inclusive as my tween was a part of the experience and he had a lot to say during and after. All these years I've lived in Boston and this was the most meaningful tour I've done thus far. We will definitely use this service again! Collin's knowledge of the community was refreshing and empowering. I hope to someday bring my students on this tour. The bonus was the 8,000 steps I effortlessly accumulated during the tour.
