We came in early to book a one day tour. The sales guy at the boot outside Quincy market told us it's Valid only for the Boston loop and that if we want to do the other loops as well we need to book the 2 days tour. Since we couldn't, we booked the one day tour (which was great... More

This is a good tour if you've never been to Boston and would like to get a feel for the city. The water portion is fun for the kids as our driver let them each have a turn in the driver's seat, but other than that I don't think it lent much to the tour. The tour misses a lot... More

The tour itself was fine with the exception of the bus that transports you back and forth from the departure area. The tour finished 15 minutes late due to traffic. The transport bus wasn't there when we arrived, and didn't show for an hour. Wrote the company who didn't bother to apologize or acknowledge the delay. Not the best customer... More

The guide was informative and going into the water was fun and interesting learning how it moves. Loved the duck callsE!

This land and water tour was interestingly done. The land and sea vehicle was clean and spacious. The tour guide was concerned and spoke to every parent about keeping their child safe. The tour lasted about an hour and a half. If it's a hot day take your own water. The commentary was interesting and the opinions of the tour... More

We, as a family, had never been to Boston before so with older parents although we started the freedom trail on foot it was too far and hot for them to walk all the way round. But, without wanting to miss out on any sites during our one day visit we thought we would get a sight seeing tour -... More

TL;DR: The two guides, Mike and Ed, are the highlight of the tour and the reason to go. We stayed in Boston for three days in July 2016, and after walking around the day before in near-90°F heat on the Freedom Trail, she suggested that we take a duck tour the following day. She researched a few and picked Super... More

Went on tour and never got close to sights. We just saw them from afar. The best part was the water tour but we didn't see much. The bus driver was more informative than the duck guides

1) crew:. Super duck has driver + tour guide, classic duck has driver/tour guide. Score it for super duck based on safety. 2) vehicle: super duck has large (~50 passenger) modern vehicle. Classic duck has renovated WWII vehicle carrying ~25. I think classic duck is speedier in the water, and smaller, enabling it to traverse the locks into the Charles.... More

Interesting overview travelerfromrockville! Thanks for the comparison. We've always paired a captain to pilot the Duck with a tour guide who narrates the tour as we believe it's a better overall experience for our visitors. And our vehicles are custom built to reduce blind spots up front and add stability on the water. Glad you toured with us and please... More
