Family came from Ohio to experience the North End. Bobby was the best tour guide! Lots of local information and stories of growing up in the North End. Food was awesome and in abundance! Everyone in the North End knows Bobby! So passionate about the North End and its future! Gentrification.

If you're visiting Boston and looking to capture some local history and AMAZING Italian food, this is your tour. No substitutes. The host, Robert Agrippino, was born and raised in Boston and is an absolute authority on the best Italian cuisine on the North End. His tour will take you to some of the arguably best places for Sicilian style pizza (James Beard level), the authoritative Italian sandwich, generations family owned deli's, bakeries...he knows all the history and the people in the neighborhood (alot of stuff the books will NOT tell you..). Not only did I learn a lot, it was a great walk through the north end and what can I say, the food was outrageously fresh, delicious, and delivered with passion. The people we encountered were very kind and generous. Robert is a true professional, historian, foodie, and all around awesome guy. You will not be disappointed. I would take this tour again next time I visit Boston. Saluti!

Bobby was the consummate guide! Not only is he a Native Son of the north end, but he is passionate about its food, culture and history. He is generous with his stories and with the food! He has a wonderful anecdotes about the area and gives a very personal experience of growing up there. Walking down the street with him, you will also feel like a native son or daughter. You will feel embraced by everyone who walks by who knows him! He is a lovely person and his enthusiasm is infectious. I cannot recommend this to her more highly. Even if you are familiar with the north end, this is a delightful way to spend a few hours with Bobby.

If you like food and history with a local flair this is definitely the tour for you!! Bobby was fantastic with our kids (11 & 15). We ate well and spaced out visits to local places with interesting stories along the way. The afternoon of the tour, we decided to go to a cafe recommended by Bobby and had the absolute best time watching the Italy soccer match with the locals, and then had dinner at a wonderful restaurant also recommended by Bobby. I would recommend doing this tour early in your stay in Boston to feel like a local and know all the great spots to visit on the rest of your trip. Thanks for your hospitality, Bobby!
