The Rachel Revere Square is a small tribute to Rachel Revere. It is just outside the Paul Revere home right on the Freedom Trail.

After walking the Freedom Trail and doing the Hop-on Hop-off bus, I really just wanted to sit down and relax for a few. Lovely little square - although lot of renovations currently being done. Found it interesting to look at how Boston replaces and repairs the cobblestone streets. Sat on the concrete benches and viewed the Paul Revere house (quite austere).

When we did the Freedom Trail and came across the house of Paul Revere there was lots and lots of municipal work ongoing in the Rachel Revere Square - indeed it was just possible to squeeze by. Doubtless it will improve shortly but it's tricky to comment / assess something that hasn't yet come to fruition. It is effectively co-located with the Paul Rever House so you don't have to go too far out of your way to see it.

As you travel the Freedom Trail, this is one of the little parks you will find along the way. In this case, right outside of the Revere house, is a sunny spot to enjoy the historic scenery. Dedicated in 1946, your get a feel for what Paul Revere and his wife may have viewed each day as they exited their home to go about their daily lives.
