I have done walking tours in many cities and countries in the US And around the world. Few can compare to the quality of Hub Town Tours. Why, you ask? Ted is not only the owner, but was also a history major and a National Park Ranger in Boston. Didn’t know any of this (just booked using my Chase points so probably through expedia), so feel quite grateful to have taken this tour vs the ubiquitous trolley tours. Just superb. You will come away knowing so much more about Boston, the underpinnings of the revolutionary war and the key people and events. Don’t miss this tour!

I had an excellent experience, and Ted was one of the best tour guides I have ever encountered. I was the only person in the tour; he made sure that I was informed of it beforehand, and I ended up having a great private tour. He is professional, knowledgeable, and passionate about the rich history of the city. Not only did he provide an in-depth look at the history of the American Revolution and its key players, he painted a vivid picture to make you feel that you were standing right in the middle of historical events. History buff or not, you won't be disappointed. Absolutely recommended.

I did a solo trip to Boston and booked this walking tour and I'm SO glad I chose this tour over others. Ted was knowledgeable and passionate about Boston's history and it was demonstrated throughout the entire tour. He even had pictures which added a special touch. I was the only person on the tour (it was so nice that he still did the tour for me!) but it's definitely for all ages. This was the highlight of my trip and I would highly recommend! I can't imagine you'd get this experience with anyone else!

Definitely the best walking tour I’ve been on to date. Ted is animated and knows how to captivate an audience. He made many stops which held our attention. As he told us stories he would show us pictures. I found this to be a creative way for us to reference who and what he was talking about. This tour was 10/10. Great price for all of the info. I will recommend this tour time and time again for anyone traveling to Boston!

As I often tell guests, the best stories have lots of pictures! I love using historical maps, portraits, and even some impressive propaganda to bring Revolutionary Boston to life. Thanks for joining me on the Freedom Trail, Victoria; I really appreciate you taking the time to share this excellent review!
