Get It on Groupon

I agree with Mollie's review below. In general, I think the 50-minute Swedish massage is worth a try if you buy it on Groupon. I actually used a $65 Travelzoo voucher, but... read more

Upon entering the bright, sunny main lobby, I knew this was a top notch spa. It is a minimalist design, light wood, dimmed lighting in the spa waiting area. Locker rooms are very clean and modern. The treatment rooms again very minimalist in a peaceful, intentional way. The woman who did my massage was great and I left feeling wonderful.... More

I agree with Mollie's review below. In general, I think the 50-minute Swedish massage is worth a try if you buy it on Groupon. I actually used a $65 Travelzoo voucher, but Groupon often does 20% discounts (so that would have been $52 not including tip). At full price ($140), the atmosphere and massage quality would not have been up... More

I felt compelled to write a review after visiting with a groupon and reading some poor reviews. We enjoyed your visit. We do have some top places to compare it to (Mandarin and Mount Washington) so it didn't live up to those standards but it was great for a groupon. If you can grab that deal while its still going... How is It that every time I call, it goes to voicemail. You are a Major worldwide hotel and I've been trying to call the spa for 2 days and can't get anyone to pick up the phone. Unbelievable!

Extremely disappointing for being an Intercontinental. I've visited the spa a few times over the years and have had an "ok" experience. They recently sold 1000s of Groupons and cannot accommodate them. They don't even return phone calls or pick up once you've been placed on hold. I definitely will not be visiting again and would not recommend it.

My husband and I got hot stone massages. My husband enjoyed his alot and felt the staff was very attentive. I enjoyed the service as well but felt rushed by the woman who did my massage, which doesn't bode well for a relaxing experience. I was still happy with the overall experience and would go back but maybe would request... More

OMG! Nirvanahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! Wonderful service, and luxurious setting, you can get so much more than you pay for. I had a lovely massage in relaxing "take me away" setting. The facilities are clean and staff is sooo wonderful. Thoroughly enjoyed my steam bath and meditation. Definitely a place to hide after a long and hard day!

They have a couple's room that has 2 massage beds. There is a bath tub and a shower in the massage room as well but you can't use those with just the massage. I think you have to book certain body services to be able to use the tub and shower in the couple's room. We got a couple's massage... More

I get massages quite frequently and I must say that this is one of the new massages that I've ever had. Had a massage and aromatherapy session with Geyri who was simply amazing. She did a great job and paid attention to detail. My back and thighs thank you!

Near the South Station it is fairly convenient from Logan airport. Boston is not a large city so most hotels afford access to many attractions. This hotel was right in front of the Boston Tea Party exhibit. Rooms were on the contemporary side with a sliding window between the main area above the bed and the bathroom. Concierge and staff... Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
