Well worth the water taxi
May 2021
What I liked about this was the personable nature of the guys and the convenience. We flew into Boston and planned to walk the city until that evening. No need for us to rent a car until later in the day but we needed to store our luggage somewhere (the airport doesn't have lockers anymore). These guys gave us a ride from the airport across the harbor and kept our luggage for us for a small price. Very personable and worked with us on times and picking us up.

Always take a water taxi instead of an uber/taxi. Drivers are brilliant, service is fab and everything feels and is clean. Only way to travel

A beautiful way downtown from Logan Airport
Feb 2020
I've been to Boston dozens of times but never heard of the water taxi service. I took the airport shuttle 10 minutes to the wharf, then caught the taxi from there. You can call for it from the call box and it'll show up within 5-10 minutes. It was $15 plus tip, less than an Uber, and was an absolutely beautiful trip across the harbor.

Call. Box at the Long Wharf
Oct 2019
My hotel was across the Boston Bay next to the airport so I looked at the map and noticed the water taxi going to the airport. When I got to Long Wharf I asked several people who worked in the area where the water taxi was located. No one knew until one man told me to go to the "call box" located on the wharf and call the taxi. I picked up the mike and called. Within 5 minutes a 30 foot boat appeared and a nice man helped me into the boat. It was a 20 minute ride across the harbor to my hotel and I got to see all the ships and sailboats out on the water.
I arrived at my hotel and after a quick walk up the gangway I was firmly planted at the hotel lobby.
This. was an adventure well worth the $15 ride. The boat driver was friendly and helpful.

Best trip to airport
Oct 2019 • Couples
Take the Water Taxi from Long Wharf North ( next door/Northside of Long Wharf Marriott) to
Logan airport for $15 per person. Not marked at all, so Walk down metal ramp and call 18 on taxi phone if no taxi is there . Very small boat... runs year round . Takes 15 minutes, drops off left of Hyatt, and at a free airport shuttle bus stop! A wonderful hidden gem in Boston !

We had never tried a water taxi, and it was amazing! Our captain even gave e us a "tour" of what we were riding past, places to eat, etc. We had never been to boston before and this was our transport from the free shuttle bus from the airport to the water taxi dock. I would highly recommended !

Alamo car rental lied to us. British Airways could not help. Boston Water taxis came to the rescue. Stored our baggage whilst we went on a tour of Boston before our flight home. Thanks to all. Great service. Efficient, on time and courteous.

Great way to store luggage and get to Logan Airport
Aug 2019
We had our last full day in Boston with luggage and a 10.00pm flight. I did some research and we decided to take a taxi from North station to Rowes Wharf in the morning, found the office.... the taxi driver knew where to drop us. The man who served us was very friendly and helpful. He charged us $22 dollars each for all day storage of our 3 cases and booked us on the 6.00pm water taxi. We gave ourselves a lot of time so we wouldn't panic if anything went wrong. When we returned we handed our luggage ticket to the man and he offered to take us to where we would get the taxi. It arrived promptly and the ride over was great. There were only three of us in the taxi. On arrival at the dock we followed the signs for the bus shuttle and waited just a few minutes. The shuttle stopped at each terminal and our's was last but we didn't worry as we'd allowed plenty of time. All in all a great way to get to the airport for $44 total for luggage storage and water taxi and bus to terminal building for two people. Very stress free.

Fantastic Company and Service!!! Highly Recommend this company!!! Call them first!!!

Traveling to Boston was exciting but we were met by disappointment the first day! We scheduled to take a evening tour of the harbor from Boston Harbor Hotel in a sail boat. After getting hopelessly lost in this new city, we arrived 2 minutes late to board our vessel to fun. We called ahead as instructed to let them know the traffic and getting lost delayed us. When we arrived 2 minutes late the boat already left and was pretty far from the dock indicating that they actually left early. The company refused to give us a refund and did not offer a trip that would accommodate us .

On the other hand, Boston Water Taxi over heard our plea for a refund from the sail boat company. He met us outside and offered a ride around the Harbor. This act of kindness made our trip great! God Bless Boston Water Taxi and employees. All I can say is Thank you! You are the most amazing!

don't believe it and don't take it

This sounds so easy. Take the ferry from a wharf to the airport. Problem is, it doesnt' take you to the airport. It takes you to a drop point for MASSTRANS which is supposed to pick up every 12 minutes. NOT. Let's start from the beginning. We arrived on time from ptown and hustled to grab the first taxi over. We were next to board when the driver stopped us when there clearly were seats still available. Fine. The next one pulled up and we boarded with someone who had hurt themselves coming down the gang plank. 20 minute delay to get bandaids because the taxi didn't have a first aid kit. We get across the harbor and wait 20 minutes for a bus that's supposed to arrive every 12. He gets to his first stop and announces that he has to stop to take a break of 5-10 minutes. Now we're 50 minutes behind our friends who were on the same flight except they made it and we didn't. We were 7 minutes too late to check luggage. We had to book onto the next flight that was delayed from 3 hours ago. We get home 2.5 hours late. Thanks water taxi and MASSTRANS. Never again.
