A spectacular drive to our first waterfall on a scenic portion of the Blue Ridge Parkway, we will visit 3 impressive waterfalls, a national forest and a state park. Keith was very easy to communicate to even prior to the tour because I had to re-schedule it a week later. He was very accommodating. His van was very comfortable and he provided snacks and drinks which were added treats! I am a waterfall-lover and was very satisfied seeing 3 waterfalls in this tour. The Looking Glass was my favorite becoz it had the most gushing water! :) The 2 “hikes” were easy although the first one was a bit longer. We also made 2 overlook stops but the fall colors were not at its peak anymore. :( I would recommend this tour!

What a great tour! So happy our friends recommended this to us - highly recommend. Keith was wonderful and a pleasure to listen to - his passion for what he does and his knowledge of the area and the horticulture shines through as he drives and walks you through the area. My husband and I would highly recommend this tour to everyone we know who is going to be in the Asheville area. Thanks again Keith for a wonderful time and one we will always remember.

My wife and I took the waterfall tour on Oct 28. At the altitude that the tour took place, the fall colors were at their peak. The predicted rain never came and the clouds and cool temperatures were welcomed. The tour guide, Keith, is a local and very versed in the history of the area and the wildlife and flora. He loves the outdoors and giving these tours and his enthusiasm is contagious. You will love it.

Keith is fantastic at what he does. Well planned trip with great commentary. There wasn't a question he couldn't answer and it is obvious he loves what he is doing. He was patient with my 80 year old parents and made sure he kept a comfortable pace for them. Equally important, he knew when to talk and when just to be silent and let nature talk! You won't regret booking this trip with him.

Thank you very much for your kind words. It was good to meet you all and we did get a beautiful autumn day for a walk in the woods to view the waterfalls. It is true, many parts of nature do talk , a lot.

What a wonderful experience!! I highly recommend Tumblestone Waterfall Tour for anyone who would enjoy a morning of beauty, knowledge, and culture. Keith, our tour guide, was outstanding with his patient, caring disposition. He enjoyed sharing his knowledge of nature and graciously answered questions.

Keith was fantastic. Great communication and detail with a timely pick up prior to the tour! The tour was informative with lots of history and detail into everything we say and where we drove. The waterfalls were beautiful. Keith was a great guide and was very accommodating to everyone. He was attentive and ensured everyone’s safety and wanted to make sure everyone had a great trip. Definitely a day well spent!

We are glad we discovered Tumblestone Tours. Our guide, Keith, was so knowledgeable and friendly; we really enjoyed having him take us on the Blue Ridge Parkway to experience three (3) spectacular waterfalls in the greater Asheville area - Looking Glass Falls, Triple Falls, and High Falls. The guided, small-group element of Keith's tours was just the type of excursion we were looking for. Keith's knowledge of western North Carolina mountain culture and history as well as of the Biltmore Estate was so appreciated. This approximately five-hour trip was without a doubt our favorite part of our Asheville winter vacation.

Had a great tour with tumblestone. Van was exactly on time, Kieth was a knowledgeable guide,fabulous views of water falls. The hike to the falls was easy and beautiful. there were ample stops for using the faciities and snacks and water were provided. I would recommend.

Keith took us to the perfect places for viewing and exploring. He chose just the right amount of information to share, while always welcoming questions and requests. Attention was given to accommodate special needs. We always knew what to expect, and we always had the perfect amount of time at each well-chosen spot. Today I went on a hiking tour with Keith. It was fantastic! He showed me fantastic trails, gave me personalized advice for taking trips on my own, and was really reassuring about my ability to venture out on my own. He was extremely knowledgeable about everything from nature to the history of Asheville. Highly highly recommend. Will be doing this again the next time I’m in town!

There is quite a bit of walking on fairly easy trails to get to a few of the best falls. Also, one has a pretty steep staircase, although there are benches for resting on the way down or up. It is a great tour! And the guide is amazing! I would suggest reaching out to him first to get his best advice. He always takes great care of everyone and I'm sure would be straight with you about your concerns. They may also have something else to offer that would be safe and fun for you. Good Luck!

I had a spine fusion a year ago. I told Keith and he was willing to go as slow or as fast as I felt comfortable. There is a hike but nothing treacherous. 2 of the waterfalls do have stairs to walk up and down. Keith always has everyone's best intentions in mind for a wonderful day!

We are an elderly couple and can't walk more then 20 minutes each way. Can we get a custom tour that would fit this and maybe see some side of the road waterfalls. What would be the charge for two people?

Can you tell me what area the Falls are in please? I spent a few trips in the Cashiers area and planned to make that area of Falls part of our trip to Asheville. Does this tour travel that far? I don't want to plan the trip and find that we are double booked for same area. Thanks so much.
