Great place to take the kids for a picnic, go for a run, walk the dog or just hang out by the French Broad River. Also, it's easy to access the River Arts District from there, too!

Went here to burn off energy and they have a huge wood play structure area. If the volleyball court is empty the kids like playing in the sand. Don't forget to bring bikes or skates! Lots of places for kids to ride or practice learning...More

Large & sturdy, wooden park that’s great for young kids! Parking is a bit odd and you can’t see the actual park equipment from the road. Definitely recommend 👍

It's a lovely park with a velodrome. My daughters had a great time playing there for an hour or so in the interesting and imaginative playground.

In town great place to take a walk. Never crowded. You can walk near the river. Been there several times. After walking, there's a great little funky place to get a bite.

They are along the walking trail that runs behind the playground. You have to go past the playground toward the climbing facility to get there

That is a great question that I cannot quite answer but I suggest that you call the tourism office. I find that the trails are sufficient for me - and they are expanding as we speak: exploreasheville com
