My wife, daughter and I had a lovely time at Tressa's. It's an old building and decorated in a "Speakeasy" kind of motif. We saw a great swing /blues band called Virginia and the Slims. They had some interesting specialty drinks which my wife and daughter enjoyed but I can't vouch for first-hand. Interesting mixed crowd of Black and White,... More

I've been several times with friends. A great place, very small though and is always crowded. They always have very talented and entertaining bands on the weekends. Their chocolate martini is delicious and reasonably priced. We will visit again when we are back in the area.

Music was good. Very reasonable cover price but there is a one drink minimum purchase however it can be a non alcoholic beverage.

Music didn't start until 9 o clock but they were fantastic. We had a blast listening to the music and dancing. Good crowd and good drinks with reasonable prices. It is going to be a sure stop on every trip.

We were slowly wandering around downtown Asheville looking for our next stop when we walked by the front door of Tressa's. I heard some really good guitar/harp blues coming from inside so we decided to stop in. Glad we did. A reasonable cover at the door and we grabbed seats along the wall near the stage. The decor is classic... More

Tressa's has been a long time venue for locals and tourists, alike; the best live local and otherwise music to hit these mountains. Jazz and Blues, Rock and Soul, and always a lot of great dance bands will be playing most nights of the week. The old school New Orleans Club atmosphere was imagined and created by New Orleans native... More

I was here on a Tuesday night and Empire Strikes Brass was playing and I couldn't not walk away. The service was wonderful, the vibes were good and the owner was friendly and fun to chat with. I had a great time and plan on going back for more asap.

This place is fun period if a 3$ cover or a 10$ drink is too much go find top notch jazz & blues somewhere else. We were amazed at the quality of the band, the vocals, the solos the dance floor was packed and everyone was having a great time. A couple can go in here and have the most... More

Went to Tressa's for a show and a couple of drinks and had a great time. There's a small cover charge (at least the night we were there), bar seating, and a number of tables. Not a large place, but we were there early and grabbed a seat up front. Great band with some local musicians sitting in, on and... More
