Malaprop's Bookstore is an independent bookstore in Downtown Asheville. The staff is friendly and helpful in finding what you are looking for. Besides books, there is a coffee shop and gift items. There is a section with Advanced Readers that are offered free.

One of the few independent bookstores to rummage around in is a good thing. Service is good as well as the atmosphere.
