We have been searching for a place to take our 6 and 8 yr old ziplining and was refreshing to find this place. They offer a 9 line zip thats not too far off the ground. You can repeat the course as many times as you like. They spend a few minutes explaining how to work the trolley and then off you go. I wish a parent was not required to go because: one you have to pay for it and its not designed to handle anyone over 5'5" with any amount of comfort. After the first round, my kids were pros and just kept zipping around and were ready to hit the adult zip lines. There are other adventure offerings as well.

We did the “full” private tour and it was phenomenal. Our group ranged in ages from adults to young teenagers. (The smaller children did the bike area or the kid zip, which was also great). We, of course, were required to masks the entire time but the air was fresh and cool, and we didn’t feel at all claustrophobic. Our guides—Donovan & Eric—went above and beyond to ensure we had a really fun time, probably our most fun guides on any family activity. Would definitely come back and do it again.

We just finished taking our 7 and 9 yr old grandsons to Treetops Adventure Park and had a blast! The boys had no problem navigating the courses since they had been before. However, it was a first for their 68 yr old grandmom. The first course was a little scary but after a bit of time, it became easier. The young adult rangers were fabulous with all ages-helpful, encouraging, funny, and they definitely “knew their stuff!” We highly recommend those who like a challenge to try this place out!

Overall, our experience was mediocre. We went for my daughter's 5th birthday and the kids were SO excited! However, when we got there the front office was incredibly disorganized and nonchalant, barely able to tell us where the party was supposed to set up - even said "wherever you want!" I had to help them to remember and understand that we are having a party at KidZip and would like to be nearby, then they were able to say that there is a place most people set up but reiterated we could do so anywhere. The tent was very far away and we had to drag heavy coolers and food approximately 1/6 mile up a gravel path. I learned later that they had golf carts as well as a back entrance, but did not offer that to us. After giving kind feedback about it I received a snarky reply that you have to know to ask (to which I say, if I knew, why would I ask......?).

Now to the Ziplining..... KidZip is just NOT for first time 5 year olds. But apparently they have a different course lower to the ground called the Purple Trail at the Treetops Park - which no one talked to me about ahead of time. No one when I was booking the party thought to ask a couple questions about what the kids might be more likely to do. No one helped me talk through the options. When I gave feedback about how absolutely terrified some of the kids were at how high KidZip is, they condescendingly told me how plenty of other kids enjoy it and that I could've known how high it was by looking at the website (it is really hard to tell on the website from pictures). Then they also said 1 staff offered the Purple Trail when they saw how freaked out everyone was, but they offered it to a parent of one of the party attendees! They didn't know who the person was who booked the party and didn't let that person (me) know that we could've gone somewhere else that the kids would have actually loved. Instead my daughter was absolutely crushed that she wasn't able to complete the zipline at her own birthday party. She spent a good 20 minutes crying about it. Only 1 of the 5 kids actually completed the course, 1 stopped after 2 zips, two kids after 3, and the birthday girl after 4 zips. The Zipping staff, however, were *amazing*! They were so kind, gentle, fun, and really took their time to come up and help frozen kids get moving again to do 1 last zip to a spot they could get down from. They were absolutely lovely.

If you have a 5 year old, ask questions about this! Do not just look at the website and get your information from there. Ask people, do you ever have kids not able to do the course? Do you ever offer other courses? Don't just assume that because KidZip has "Kid" in the title that it's for all kids, and don't assume "Kid" is their most easy/basic/entry level course because it is NOT. Tree Tops is (which is odd because tree tops themselves are very high up). This place could do well to consult with actual parents.

Our group was visiting Asheville for fall break and were looking for activities that all of our kids (age 4.5,4.5,7,8,9,10,13) could participate in. The Adventure Center fit the bill and our group split for Kidzip and Canopy Adventure. The older kids loved the big zipline course & Kidzip. However our 4.5 year olds were definitely too young for Kidzip. What is being asked of them is unreasonable & unsafe. One 4.5 yo would not even start the course. The other did, but part of the way in, called “all clear” (thinking she was) then fell backwards & collided with my husband, resulting in a fractured collar bone. In my opinion, Kidzip should only be for kids 6 and up, or they should staff someone at each platform to assist the younger kids to keep everyone safe.

Loved zip-lining. It's an urban experience, so be aware of that, in case you were looking for a canopy high up in the mountains style adventure, but this was still great. It did rain, but had stopped about 15 minutes before the first Zip, so things were a little faster than I think they normally would have been, as far as faster on the line. Both guides were helpful, felt safe with instruction and care taken to explain things. Shook off lines to get excess water off. Recommended for sure.

My kids ages 14, 12 and 11 did the Asheville Treetop adventure ropes course yesterday and had a great time! It was their first time doing anything like this and they loved it! Guides provided good safety instructions prior to starting the course and were there to help when they had any issues. Felt
totally safe with the two clip system always tied to them. There are several different levels and they went as high as they felt comfortable. The hardest ones were way too much for them. Book in advance as they do fill up fast. Arrive on time as they start the group exactly when you’re scheduled to begin. They wish they would have had more than 2 hours. The zip lining and biking trails also looked like tons of fun but we didn’t have time to try them out. Hope to be back some time.

This was a wonderful family adventure. We went to the Treetop adventure, with kids from 8 to 16. they have all the safety measures in place, to have a great experience. we used all difficulties levels but the black one, and it was a real fun! 2 hs there that were not enough to cover all trails, but enough to feel tired after the exercise (specially the red trail).
Staff is really good and attentive, the place is all with tree shade which was really good at 2:30 pm on July.

This is a new adventure set to open in July, but I had the opportunity to check it out this past week with a couple friends. It's a fun and exciting experience riding off-road vehicles on narrow, muddy, rocky trails up and down a mountain. I did not drive, but my buddy did and he did say it does require some experience and skill to navigate the trails. I enjoyed the tour just as much riding as a passenger! Worth checking out if you are wanting to test your skills, but you can also ride with one of the experienced drivers they will provide for you.

This was our second visit in less than a year. This place is great and has something for all ages. We (husband and I are early 40s) visited with my 6 year old and 3 over 60 grandparents. My son and his grandmother did the kid zip and enjoyed it. We all did the treetops adventure park. There were all levels of challenge on the courses. My son can’t wait to return to do some other color courses. He could do 3 of them, and there are seven. Staff is friendly and helpful.
