My family loved the wine tasting — Tammy made our experience especially awesome! We all left as members of the Tammy Fan Club. Cheers!

Our 4th time staying at the Village. My daughter and I, my husband came fir the first time ever.
It is hands down worth it. No outside noise whole trying to sleep and the best food at the Village Social.
Ashley at the desk is the great at making you feel welcome and will go above and beyond to make your stay well worth your vacation
Christmas at the Village is something to look forward to every year

Went here for a wine tasting as a part of our Biltmore House ticket. The guy at the entrance was just plain obnoxious. We almost left, but eventually decided to go ahead. Once we got in, everyone could not of been nicer. We got to taste five different wines, our sommelier was friendly and knowledgeable.

As part of a tour of the Biltmore estate you are entitled to a winetasting. There is a bit of a drive from the estate to the winery, which is in the village. After parking there is a long trek from the parking area into the winery entrance, then down a very long, cavernous walkway. There are then stairs or an elevator to take you to the wine tasting room itself. For those who are mobility challenged, this was a workout. They offer a sample of five wines at the tasting and those are already chosen. They were all quite good and we did make a purchase of six bottles. In the shopping area we noticed there were many more for varieties then on the Tasting. Someone more expensive and somewhat less. There are also related items for purchase there. Across from the winetasting is a wine bar with seating both indoors and out. They also offer food there.. My husband and I decided to have a leisurely glass of wine. I had to Rousanne which was delightful. I would suggest to wine lovers that they cross the street and have a wine at the bar before making purchases to take home.

We scanned the QR code and made a reservation for our free wine tasting, and had an ideal early afternoon time. Be sure to allow lots of time to get up to Antler Hill Village-it’s only a few miles away from the house but it’s slow, twisty, scenic, single lane roads almost all the way. Once you’re there, you’ll have to walk a little bit from the parking lots.
It wasn’t super busy October 12th, so we were part of 10 set up for the tasting at DAN’s station. He was very cheerful and helpful, kind and patient with those who didn’t know what try. Really an excellent host! The tasting room is large but there is enough separation between groups that we didn’t feel crowded. The wine store next door has hundreds of wines available. We were so glad DAN suggested taking a pic of the tasting menu with us or we never would have been able to find the right versions of Merlot and Chard!
For a free wine tasting, this was nicer than some I’ve attended and a worthwhile addition to our visit to the property. I’m glad we made time to attend!

We ended a lovely day at Biltmore with a free wine tasting at the vinery. You must make reservations at the beginning of the day. You cannot walk in without a reservation, and you cannot make reservations the day before you come. Our server was very knowledgeable about wine and wine pairing and history of the vineyard. You can sample 5 different wines. You can choose from red or white wine to taste. Then you can buy the wine that you liked the best in the store. The store also has samples of other wines and dips. It was a nice experience that you should not miss

My wonderful wife had a great plan for our 23rd wedding anniversary - a weekend at the Biltmore Estate, and we had a wonderful time…

… thanks, in part, to the wine tasting at the WInery.

One heart, one way

The winery is open for tastings for much of the day. We understand they were 96% capacity when we visited, and so, we’re unsure if, on days that are a little more crowded, if lines are longer… they were not too long when we visited, and we had booked reservations on the website first-thing that morning (only reserve day-of visit).

Your tasting lets each of you select five wines. The Biltmore has grapes grown on-property and they also have some with grapes from California.

We enjoyed the following wined, some of which we tried more than once:
1. Reserve Chardonnay
2. Limited Release Orange Muscat
3. Limited Release Merlot
4. Limited Release Malbec
5. Reserve Cabernet Franc
6. Limited Release Mourvèdre
7. Limited Release Malbec
8. Limited Release Sangiovese
9. Reserve Cabernet Franc
10. Limited Release Malbec

Thanks, Christina for serving us.

As with all things Biltmore, this place is impressive. You can sample the wines and learn some history at the same time. All while being surrounded by a beautiful setting with great ambiance. Another reason to come to Asheville.
