We found Wedge on the edge of the River Arts District. We went as soon as it opened and sat inside at the bar. The beer was excellent and the whole place has a really cool vibe.

Beers: I have never had one there I do not like. My favorite is the Caroliner Weisse, especially with the Cheerwine add-in. Iron Rail IPA is the go-to for most people. Beertenders: The beertenders are always super-friendly, amusing, and willing to offer selection suggestions. Building/parking:...More

Visited the River Arts District while in Asheville and had a blast at Wedge. Inside is very small, but great random outdoor seating. Our beer was good and the atmosphere in the Arts District is amazing. Such a cool, unique area and brewery.

Slightly off the beaten path in the Asheville Arts District. OK beers, eclectic scenery. Lots of outdoor seating. Next to an antique shop that's cool to walk through

We stopped in to buy beer to go on our adventure during my 40th birthday and get away. The place seems pretty cool, inside was kind of small from what we saw. Staff was very helpful and got us whatever we needed. Only downside is...More

My wife and I stumbled across this brewery while at 12 Bones - they have a connecting hall. Wedge has excellent beer. I especially liked the Iron Rail IPA and my wife liked the Kolsch. The Iron Rail is an English style IPA (similar to...More

If you love craft beers, this is a great place to enjoy in a very casual outdoor setting. Food trucks at night help to add to the ambiance. This is a very popular place in the art district.

2nd stop on brewery tour Saturday. Love this place. It’s a small bar area but a huge outside venue. We had the pints of the Goze, the Dunkel, and the Belgian Blonde (11%). Both the Goze and the Blonde were awesome. The Blonde was way...More
