Overview
More
Our bean-to-bar chocolate factory and tasting room was established in 2012 to hand craft chocolate from cocoa beans we import directly from the source. We offer weekly Saturday factory tours, by reservation, in which you learn about cacao cultivation and processing, and our artisan methods of chocolate production. Our retail is open daily 12-6, offering truffles, bars and other chocolate products made completely on site. We offer self-guided tours 2:30-5:30. Come see how we make chocolate!

Loved this place! Once we entered, the staff was so friendly and helpful. We tried a few samples and all were delicious! We decided on six chocolates and a milk chocolate bar. I'm not ashamed to say we are them all later that night.

Great informative and entertainment tour. Evan was a font of knowledge and there were lots of treats to sample. Really made me appreciate the effort that goes into artisan chocolate. Highly recommend tour if you are interested in the history and science of the craft.

All soooooooo good. This place makes chocolate drinks unlike any other confectioneries. But that's not all! They also have an assortment of chocolates you can take with you. Very much recommend visiting French Broad!

Loved our "chocolate guide" -- Evan. The information was presented in a multimedia format, and we came away with a new sense of understanding real chocolate! Delicious -- please visit the factory and shop -- try the scorpion pepper chocolate bar!!!
