Incredibly powerful treatment of tough subjects by two amazing actors. For 90 nonstop minutes they kept us riveted in the intimate 35 Below setting. Renee

We saw "The Fantasticks". Seated near back of auditorium, but the seats were great...the place is not large. The atmosphere was good, the volunteers efficient and friendly. And the show---performers were great! Cost was reasonable. Big issue with parking. We went an hour and a half before the performance and rode around for 15 minutes before finding a space. This situation is the norm for Asheville, however.

My wife and I saw The Fantasticks for a Velantine's Day treat. This group is truly awesome. We've seen lot of musicals over the years, in local theaters and on Broadway. This group at the ACT is better than many professional groups! Their dedication and quality showed in every song and every move on stage. It was a total delight to see them. I won't have to try to remember, it will be hard to forget!

Went to The Wizard of Oz and it was so well done...all volunteer actors. I have seen many plays here and cannot believe how much good talent we have in this community. Tickets are very reasonable and the theatre was recently renovated so very comfortable seating and great sound!. Concessions available with local beer, wine, snacks and sodas.

All of the main characters were fabulas! Especially Dorothy, who was very talented in acting and singing, I really enjoyed the entire play! My 2.5 yr old granddaughter loved it! She sat quietly and was absorbed into the entire play! Very good!
