We were visiting Asheville and I saw that LA CAGE AUX FOLLES was playing at the Asheville Community Theatre. I like live theater, and I like some of the songs from this musical, and had never seen it on stage. So we went! First, this is a great little theater. Small ,well designed, no bad seats. The stage, lighting, audio... More

I attended La Cage aux Folles on my first visit to ACT. It exceeded my expectations on every level. The wealth of local, community talent in actors, singers, dancers and acrobats blew me away. The venue is intimate--there is not a bad seat in the whole place. Ticket prices are an utter bargain! The theater staff was super friendly and... More

My wife and I live about 45 minutes from Asheville now so we don't always get there as often as we would like. This was our first time at the Community Theater and will not be our last! The production was wonderful, with everyone doing a terrific job. Certainly the best play I have ever seen. We had a great... More

What more can I say besides the show was brilliant. I would see it again in a heartbeat given the chance. I am from a very large city with fine live theater and this is on par with what I have seen in my own city. The acting was superb, the costumes out of this world, singing exceptional The only... What a fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon, laughing, getting endorphin highs. The whole ensemble was superb, but Tim Geib as Jacob was hysterical, and Carla Pridgen is forever too funny, just love her. The sets and wardrobes were great , too. Break legs!

We were visiting Asheville from Indianapolis and were looking for something to do on Saturday night. Luckily we found Asheville Community Theatre. What a wonderful play. We laughed and marveled at the costumes and makeup changes. It was a perfect role for Za Za. If I lived in Asheville, I would see the play again - it was that good!!

Hardly ever miss one of their plays. Went last night to see La Cage Aux Follies. Laughed all the way home. Hard to believe Asheville has so much talent. There are no bad seats.
