Very large farmer's market with many vendors selling local and regional produce, honey, cheese, juices baskets and stuff. Friendly vendors who help with any questions. No fancy food stalls.

Ran into a little rain en route to Asheville so stopped here for browsing purposes only. Ended up buying meals and snacks for two days! Covered garden center and craft and foodstuff buildings (with a bathroom). Take the time to drop by.

Yes a select few sell organic items. I also suggest ALDI on River Road in Asheville for organic foods. They have a good selection as well as good prices.
