We arrived in Asheville on a Friday and one of the first things we did was the "High Rollers" food tour. Kasey was a fantastic guide who took care of us every step of the way. She had umbrellas - even though we felt very few rain drops. Each stop on the tour was ready for us when we arrived.... More

My husband & I love food tours & have been on several around the world. This one in Asheville did not disappoint. Stephen was a charming guide & got to know everyone in the group. He was quick to accommodate any special needs such as selecting non-alcoholic beverages along the way & having special meals made for a dairy-free participant... More

Our guide Casey was terrific and very good at guiding us on the High Roller Tour. We had a personal talk by the most recently nominated James Beard chef from Asheville. Brian is at Cucina24 and he gave us a wonderful discussion of his approach to serving some of the best food available in Asheville! Other places we visited included... More

Hi dhendricks34!! I'm so glad you enjoyed the tour this weekend!! I agree that meeting Brian at Cucina 24 is one of the highlights of our high roller tours..he has so many interesting things to say, not just about his restaurant but about the food scene here in Asheville. It was great meeting you guys and I hope you all... More

I've been on several food tours. This one was great! Hank our tour guide was a blast. The restaurant lineup was awesome. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed this tour. This is a great way to experience several local eateries while getting the inside scoop on each one. If you're in Asheville this is a must!

Our guide was Sandy and she was fantastic. She provided a sort of historical walking tour of Asheville between restaurant stops and she was informed and very friendly. We loved 6 out of 8 places and we are pretty picky!

Hi Primoclass! So glad to hear you enjoyed your food tour!! I love your adjectives: "Interesting, fun, and tasty", because I would say those perfectly describe what we are aiming for!! I'm glad you enjoyed learning about Asheville history along the way, always a nice bonus! Hope to show you another amazing tour again in the future! Cheers, Kasey More

We were excited for the tour because of all the good reviews on Trip Advisor, but ended up being extremely disappointed. While the guide, Kasey, was friendly and informative, the food was subpar, especially considering the price of the high rolling tour. One of the first restaurants we went to served us bologna, which was extremely salty. Then we were... More

Hi Rebecca_Dou!! It was so fun hanging out with you guys last weekend! I'm sorry to hear you didn't like the mortadella. One of my favorite things about Cucina 24 is that they make EVERYTHING in house, and the mortadella is no exception! I couldn't believe in when Brian told us it takes almost a full day to make this... More

One of the best things we have done as tourists! The High Roller tour was outstanding and our guide, Kasey, was superb. She made sure everyone was super comfortable and took great care of us as we sauntered around Asheville to 8 (yes - 8!) venues for food and drink pairings. The walking was a perfect opportunity to expend a... More

Hi PMDow42! Thanks so much for your kind words! That was really such a fun afternoon! So glad to hear you enjoyed the tour as much as I did that day. I agree, the walking does help to "reset" everything between stops. (And don't forget, everything is calorie free in Asheville on Fridays! ;) ) And yes, food tours certainly... More

I have visited Asheville many times but this was my first time going on a food tour. I was delighted to eat at seven restaurants I have never been to before and learn about the chefs and history of the restaurants. Kasey was a very engaging and knowledgeable tour guide who provided us with some history of Asheville along the... More

Wow! For a great price you get to sample some of the best dishes and beverages in town and get some walking in while you're doing it. Talk about a win-win! We went to 6 places for nibbles and libations, none of it sucked, it was all very good.
