I have been on two tours with Eating Asheville, and both were fantastic. We live about an hour away and got stuck in a huge traffic jam trying to come to the first tour. I called Eating Asheville, and they rebooked us for another tour later that day and refunded the difference! Awesome! That is how we ended up on... More

Great tour! We loved it and highly recommend! This would be good to do on your first day in town and then you can revisit some of the great stops from the tour!

We went on a girls weekend however I plan to go back again with other friends. Really great way to get a starting out overview for the downtown area. I would recommend doing this at the start of your visit to the area because it gives you so many ideas on places and what to do and see. Our guide... More

This tour was fantastic. Kasey, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable about both the food and the history of Asheville. We had two particularly good dishes: a risotto at Isa’s and a ravioli. The food was plentiful. Skip breakfast and don’t eat lunch. The food is plentiful but the portion size of the alcoholic drinks were not as generous. Certainly,... More

Hey Monica B, So happy I was able to show you a fun tour last week! I agree, the risotto at Isa's and the grilled ravioli at Strada were definitely two of the top highlights from our tour. Also, sharing the history and food scene of Asheville is by far my favorite part of the afternoon- so glad to hear... More

I did the "high roller" tour. Great way to hit some of the top rated restaurants in town, many are James Beard nominated chefs. I was flying solo on my trip to Asheville so it was a neat way to experience excellent food and drink with others. Highly recommend. Will be back for another tour next time I'm in Asheville.

My boyfriend and I decided to book this tour as our Valentine's Day gift to one another. We started a tradition of doing a food tour in every city we visit. Thus far, we've never been disappointed and it's always ended up being one of the best parts of our vacations. This tour was no different and actually one of... More

Hi Ebenedet7, Thanks for including us in your Valentine's Day plans! I agree, exploring a new place through a food tour is such a wonderful way to get to know the area. I am flattered to hear this one of your favorites!! I hope the rest of your Valentine's trip was equally as fun, and hope we get the opportunity... More
