Beautiful setting in the mountains of NC

We went during the LEGO exhibit and it was awesome. Lots of easy hiking trails and amazing plants. The Holiday Lights during the winter season are also amazing.

This is surely one of the signature attractions of Asheville. There are many things to see, with ever changing exhibitions. The are also many trails for stretching your legs. If you want a quick bite, you don't have to leave the compound. There is a library, in which you can relax and read. We come about once a year, even... More

It was beautiful in the off season (not many flowering plants) so I can't imagine it spring the summer. I will definitely come back one day to see it then. The main garden section was quite a bit smaller than I was expecting however. The gift shop was great and the women in the visitor center was very knowledgeable about... More

Visit the arboretum, go in the spring, go during summer, go see the lights in the winter, plan your wedding there and then invite me. This is a great place to take family, elderly and children, plenty of shade and places to sit.

Beautiful natural setting anytime of year. It is cold in November but bundle up and you will be fine. Hot chocolate is only a few steps away. DW

Beautiful gardens and paths to stroll down. Their exhibits are also very educational for the young and old. Nice gift shop and very friendly staff. They only change by the car load which makes it very affordable. Just off of the Blue Ridge Parkway, if ever in Asheville, NC, worth the visit here.

The most gorgeous gardens, trails and exhibits. This is a must see! Individuals and families have memberships here so that they may visit and walk among the tranquility. The staff is outstanding with many volunteers participating. So relaxing. The Bonsai exhib is fantastic.
