The Biltmore is an American icon of history and engineering, and real American royalty (forget that hype about the Kennedys). Based on several visits, it is a first class operation and Kudos to the family that still runs it. We have seen several Chihuly exhibits...More

Biltmore is a must see for any adult young or old and even teenagers enjoy this place to image living or owning a home this size. But little kids were bored and this rich history is too drab for their taste.

When we visited Asheville, the “big” thing seemed to be the Biltmore estate. So we drove to this house and thought it was free to look at. But that dream ended fast. We arrived about 4 o’clock, so there wasn’t a lot of time left....More

Spent the entire day enjoying the HUGE home, gardens, hiking trails and then Antler Village. It is an amazing experience. Easy drive from Asheville. Recommend tickets before hand which are available in the Asheville Visitor's Center.

Loved the history and beauty of this estate. The Chihuly glass exhibit was definitely a very special added attraction and was unbelievably beautiful. Don't miss the basement exhibit telling the story of the construction of the vast house. Downstairs you will also see the bowling...More
