We visited the last week in June, with a 15 and 10 year old. Everyone enjoyed the tour with the self-guided audio. The lines were long so going through the entire tour took a long time. Our brains were also quite saturated by the end...More

I visited here with a friend in September to see the Chihuly art which was displayed in the mansion and in the gardens. This was actually my second visit having come many, many years ago when I was young. It is a beautiful place. I...More

While staying in North Carolina I was really looking forward to seeing the Biltmore. I have toured several other Vanderbilt mansions this year and read an interesting novel about the family. When I went to reserve tickets online and found out they were $80 each...More

I felt like this was expensive to be herded through like cattle. I somewhat expected that as I am a local, but it was worse than expected. I guess I'll wait another 35 years to go back again.

This was our first time ever visiting the Biltmore estate and we were overwhelmed! In a good way! I am so thankful that we reserved an entire day to tour it. Just driving through the grounds was breathtakingly beautiful. We did a carriage ride which...More

Nice place, we really went to see the Chihuly Glass exhibit. The house is fun to see though. Get the audio tour for $14 extra, it really made it much more interesting.

Went to Chihuly glass art exhibit at the Biltmore Estate on 09/24/18 with the "Back stairs" tour. The exhibit was over Oct. 7th, but it was amazing, glorious! The way they spread out all the colorful huge glass pieces made the estate even more enchanting...More

This was our second visit to the Biltmore. Interestingly, the steps one tales to gain entry are multitudinous. Yes, call to order tickets, get a confirmation number that you have to use after you secured an entry time. Then, you snake through the traffic to...More

It was a return visit to the Biltmore and view of the night tour of the Chuily exhibit. No matter how many times you see the house you can find something new. Was most impressed with the handicapped accommodations in the house. Lots of marvelous...More
