It is a castle with just spectacular grounds. I definitely recommend that you arrive early, as there were lines to get tickets (ours were already reserved) and the place is so big that it takes time just to drive on the property and then walk...More

The house is a privately owned museum. Spent a day here. Toured the house and grounds. In one word Awesome. Took a segway tour of the grounds. Excellent staff. Will return.

It cost a fortune for the tour of this place and it was in no way worth it. It was poorly organized, very crowded and dark. The place has 255 rooms and we saw maybe 50. All the windows were heavily shaded and the lighting...More

Went to the Chihuly nights exhibit - stunning in every way. Enjoyed self-guided tour of the 1st floor. Read The Last Castle for great history of the castle.
