This isn’t your average outing or everyday experience—Breakout is for those who would rather solve mysteries than watch someone else have all the fun. With different rooms that follow unique story-lines, you and your friends will have 60 minutes to escape your adventure of choice by cracking codes, solving puzzles and following clues. Part problem solving, part adrenaline, end-to-end fun!

Eight of us played the casino room. This was just too many people, I think 4 or 5 active participants would be the limit. There was not enough for 8 people to do so 3 to 4 of us stood around most of the time. We've played escape rooms before and the difficulty was pretty typical.

Hey there, thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. We do typically recommend 4-5 people per room, but our fire code maxes are around 7-8, which are the maximums that you see on the website. We've done a number of these around the country and Breakout Games Asheville is top-notch. We did two of the rooms here and both were excellent. The puzzles were hard enough to make us work but not impossible and kept us busy the entire time. Definitely on our list for the next time we're in town.

Our game master Gavin was awesome. Only then 2nd breakout room we have done but the best so far. Room laid our very well. Hints were helpful without just telling us the answer. Will definitely visit again next time in the area. We played hostage!

A group of us attended the Hostage room this weekend. Our game master Michael got our sense of humor and made the experience extra fun for us. We went a little late so our brains weren’t as sharp and Michael was kind enough to give us the right hints we needed. It was lots of fun. The escape rooms we have done before were a couple of rooms but this one we stayed in the same room the whole time. It was hard to figure out what really to focus on. Don’t over think it and have fun! Highly recommend with a group of friends.

We had an awesome time with our game master Freida! She was very nice and helpful. The “museum heist” was a challenging, yet very fun room. The effects and clues were very well made. Freida made our experience much more enjoyable. Highly recommend her and Breakout games!

This was a great experience for my wife and I. We have played multiple “Escape Rooms” and this we both thought it was right on par and the “Clue” game was very thought out and very exciting also. It also makes a HUGE difference that our Game Host WILL was awesome. He really helped us but not too much to give the game away. Thank you Breakout & Will for a great time on our honeymoon. We’ll be back!!

My friends and I had a great experience at Breakout yesterday! Kayleigh, our game master, was awesome! All of her hints were straightforward and helpful, which was definitely appreciated. I have done a few escape rooms before, but the Museum Heist that we tried yesterday was definitely one of my favorites! It is very dynamic and has a lot of hidden surprises. It was so fun that we left yesterday trying to decided which room at Breakout we were going to try next. Would definitely recommend!

My family did the Mystery Mansion breakout room with Will. Our family of 4 with two kids under 10 had a great time! Will was so patient and helpful with us and the kids. There was enough spookiness to the room to make it fun, but not so much to overly scare the kids. The puzzles were challenging (to us anyway!) and had a good variety! They also weren’t so far out there that we had no ideas though, and Will gave us some gentle nudges when we needed them!

We’ve done many escape rooms in our travels, and found this one after reading positive reviews. We loved it! We did the Hostage room, which was very well-done, with some unique elements we had not seen before in other rooms. Our game master, Goose, was terrific. It’s was a fun experience, and highly recommended. It was a very rainy day, and if we were not pressed for time, we would have stayed and done another room.

The was our second time going. They accommodated our large party and we even broke the record for the room! We loved it. I think we’ll make a habit of it. Definitely going back!

Where is the best place to park?

I parked at the Civic Center garage near the Rankin garage. First hour free at both garages, and then it's just $1 per hour (unless there's a special event). Pack Place garage is in walking distance as well, but it tends to be more expensive.
