Coming from someone who does a lot of guided trips - Robby is an excellent guide. He truly stands out from other guides with his wealth of knowledge and outstanding teaching skills. Jigging for lake trout is very technical and non-intuitive - but Robby made the process seem clear and hopeful “Find the fish that’s in the right mood”. We had to leave many groups of fish before we found the right ones. He kept instructing me and my fishing partner to slightly change up our cadence every 15 minutes or so until we found a pattern that got bit. Robby also answered all of our questions and made us better fisherman overall. A trip with Sport Fish Colorado is well worth the money, you won’t regret it.

Robby set us up with Seth for the day on Blue Mesa Reservoir chasing Kokanee salmon...what a fantastic experience for my 10 & 12 year old sons! My wife and I were amazed and very thankful for Seth's thoughtful and patient approach explaining the fishing techniques and equipment - it was evident he has a passion for the outdoors and educating others who are interested. Weather was great, Seth proved to be a top notch individual (and an excellent guide), and my family experienced a special day on the water together. I give the highest recommendation for Robby's operation and specifically for Seth if he's available. Oh, for those who are wondering, we did catch our limits on the Kokanee as well as a few bonus trout, but the action was overshadowed by the conversation and overall experience. Hands down the best experience we've had with any guide!!

Spent three days with Robby Richardson.
Caught our limit of Kokanee salmon each day.
Caught 10 lake trout over the three days also. Largest was 32lbs.
Fishing for Lake Trout is tough, but Robby put us on the fish.

This was my third trip out with Robby, as always we had a great time, Robby is very sharp at tracking down the fish, he is also great at putting you on the Lake Trout! So if your looking for a great time catching Trout, Salmon or Lake Trout Robby's great at putting you on them. I took a friend with me this time, he had a great time catching fish and listening to Robby tell and show him how's it's done. Robby is definitely a 5 star guide. Any future trips booked by me will definitely be with Robby!

Iced Blue Mesa with my Brothers on Jan 31st with Robby. He is not only a great guide, but an excellent person, as nice as they come. Went again with him after ice off and he didn't let me down 42" laker thru the ice and a 37" in April. Both trips were awesome!

We so enjoyed our second year trip with sport fish Colorado . Caught lots of fish laughed an joked around. Seth was great an very knowledgeable of the lake an area. We really appreciate Robby for putting us with him.

My best friend and I booked two days fishing with Seth. Everything was just as advertised and we had a blast. Even limited out early on the second day with enough time to play golf that afternoon. We will be making this an annual trip.

Ice Fishing was a bucket list outing for a friend visiting from Australia. This tour exceeded every expectation. Great guide and set up - we caught a bunch of fish and we had a fantastic day. Well organized and executed day!

Both myself and my wife had an excellent fishing experience with Jerad. Caught salmon, rainbows, and browns - and learned a lot about trolling for salmon. Jerad is a life-long Colorado outdoors man - very knowledgible about mountain and ranching outdoor life. His family was one of the original homesteading families in the local area. Great guide.

+we took a guided trip with Conner. We were on a quest for a brag worthy Mac. We had our 11 year old God son with us and thanks to our guide he landed a 34 inch Laker. Our guide made the entire trip educational for Noah. I learned a feel new tricks too. I'd recommend his operation and Conner to anyone. In fact, I booked trip 2!
