The story of the Nez Perce deserves to be heard (or read) by a wider audience. The Visitor's Center is compact but offers a video and a wide range of topical books. The museum is small as well, but well worth the time.

Good information of Nez Perce Indians and the hardships they endured, The topo map they had in the visitor center was outstanding. Rangers on duty was very knowledgeable and professional.

Free admission with a nice visitor center and friendly staff. The whole tragic scene is right in front of you and the testimonies from the survivors is touching.
