    Good Place To Spend An Evening
    Not an impressive casino, but a good place for an outing. We go here maybe 3-4 times a year and always have a good time. We did the new years party here - which I won't do again and they have music festivals on the racetrack area. The bar is good, but the food is less than average - visit a nicer restaurant before going here for the remainder of your evening. it's worth a visit.

    A nice diversion
    This was a nice diversion from sitting on the beach in the hit weather. Also was only about 20 minutes from our hotel. The casino is one the small side and not exciting loke Atlantic City. The volume on alot of machines is restricted and of course no excitement from yelling so I did not expect to win...and I did not. The machines are old and need some updated games. Otherwise it was just ok to get away for a few hours.

    OK if you have nothing else to do
    The slots pay nothing and you have to buy your drinks. the staff is friendly but there is no reason to go here except to lose money

Awful first they offer a smoking session outside it clearly says on the door one machine per person, that is not followed one person playing 3 games. The area is very small so one person taking up 3 machines is crazy. Also security came out several times telling people to put mask on if they are not smoking, no one listened they threatened that they would have to leave if asked again they never came back to check. Wont return!!!!!

4th of July Promotion (several hour delay)

Saw a 4th of July Promotion for Ocean Downs regarding picking fireworks and winning free play. My wife and I decided to make the long drive up. We arrived at 8:20am and upon arrival, we were informed the promotional kiosks were all down and inoperable and that they were working to resolve the issue. Kept being told by different employees the issue should be fixed in 5 min. Fast forward 2+ hours later and the issue was finally fixed. Almost seemed intentional to get people playing using their own money during this time period. There were several people who we spoke with who came just for the promotional free play who ended up loosing all their own personal money while waiting for promotional kiosks to work.

Unfortunately, several of these customers left broke and upset without ever being able to obtain their well deserved promotional free play. In retrospect, it was probably better off they left. Machine payouts were very tight. My wife and I were one of the unfortunate few who stayed longer than we probably should have.

We went here on our trip due to some tropical storm rain, and it was a great time. Casino staff was very friendly and it was very clean. There is a smoking area with slots for smokers and they’re keeping up with all the COVID standards very well. Definitely worth going.

An absolutely horrible experience

We usually come here on our beach trip.

We typically get a table looking out over the racetrack. PlCe was really packed so we found othet table. Standing in line, it took 45 to order food. Hours to get the food.

They also removed the human tellers who take the bets and process the tickets and replaced them with very complicated betting machines that require you to bet all the cash you put in the machine. The process of betting takes infinitely longer this way. Normally my family would spend over $1000 on this night, we were so fed up we barely spent $100 on all the races.

Our dinners were horrible. Actual humans to provide any service were non-existant.

We will not be returning.

Do NOT use their ATMs. They debit your account and do not disperse the actual cash. Got me for $503.99 and a buddy for $1003.99. It has been a huge pain trying to dispute it through my bank. The casino & Everi, who owns the ATM are no help. They can simply look at their surveillance cameras and see the machines errored and never dispersed the cash, but they don't want to be bothered. Another scam.

So.. this was the only casino which was close to our hotel and we thought of having a quick visit .. looks really big from outside but inside is too small. Having visited Atlantic City and others , this was almost nothing … but for that place , it was ok ..

They just had 2 roulette tables !!!!! Crazy. So many people in 2 tables. .. wish they had more tables . And the biggest joke is - the waitress bringing beer said it isn’t free 😀 ok.. I thought it might be a dollar and she said it’s 5$ … first time ever I saw this ! I was laughing like crazy . That shows how broke are these casino owners ! Wil never go back again.. no fun playing here .

Live Hrness racing was exciting. What a great combination. Slots and live horse racing. The dining room was good. The food canteen was very reasonable. Get the chicken strips and fries. Good portion. Temperature test upon entering. Slot machines wiped down often. 10 minutes from the beach. A great experience

My husband and I went today and were there for two hours. I won $345 on an dollar machine which I never play. It was a two dollar bet. My husband won $350 on an dollar machine. Came home with what I took and an extra $180. We were very happy. The place was very clean and staffers were cleaning all The time. Felt very safe !!!

Very rigged. The slots pay way less than 80 percent back. The black jack table, you always start out with 13, 14, and 15 and never win whether you stay or hit. I lost six times in the row. They have a shuffler that you can't see so the table controls your cards. Not random at all

Waste of time.

I have been coming here since they have opened during vacation. The machines are very tight. Never seen anyone wiping down machines during COVID. If you want to blow money and not hit at least enough to keep playing then you won't mind it.
