I highly recommend SKYDIVE OC to anyone who is looking for a safety conscious, professionally run operation. The check in was smooth and efficient. The instructors were very knowledgeable, professional, but extremely calming for first timers.
Every step of the process was explained before it occurred, never once did I feel uncomfortable or questioning.
Thank You again, SKYDIVE OC for a wonder memory with my son :)

Professional, friendly, helpful - Amazing experience!!! Chris made me comfortable and kept it light - I jumped from 15000 feet - It was everything I thought it would be and more. Just wow. It's expensive but worth it.

What a great place to skydive. The team at OC Skydive went above and beyond to make my son, his best friend, and myself welcome the minute we walked in the door. Everything from the pre jump instructions to the actual skydive was top notch. I’ve been to other skydiving places and nothing compares. Would recommend OC Skydive to everyone that wants an unforgettable experience. Thanks again for a great time

It was expensive. I won’t lie. And you really need to sign away all of your rights to sue. However it was incredible, the guys that my son and I jumped with were great, they did a fantastic job. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
We jumped at 15,000 feet, and the ride down with incredible. The scariest part was just getting out of the plane, but once we did we were having the time of our lives!
Better than any roller coaster or ride I’ve ever been in,Just cruising over Assateague Island was amazing.

Horrible experience which I'm leaning strongly towards contacting the Better Business Bureau regarding. Most disorganized unaccommodating business I have ever dealt with. I tried setting up reservations prior on their online system which was not functional so I called them to set up reservation (and email) and was told the online system was not working. That should have been my first clue. I was gifted tandem gift certificates which I was excited to use to take my son sky diving as an 18th birthday present. My son had been extremely excited to sky dive for over a year ever since I dived at another location (with excellent experience) but he was unable to prior since he was not of the required age of 18 years old yet. We had reservations set, drove the 2 and a half hour drive from Annapolis, Md to Ocean City for that exclusive event. Upon arrival I displayed the printed gift certificate confirmation complete with gift certificate code and was told that was not what I needed. I opened and showed the young brunette woman emails regarding the certificate; one email complete with confirmation number, the certificate purchase price amount ($399 for 2), purchase email address, name, date of purchase..everything. i asked them to please look up either gift certificate number or confirmation number and was told that they were a small sky dive operation which did not do computer records. They scrambled around for a time shuffling through papers but then announced that they still could not honor any of my information nor my printed certificate confirmation with code. They insisted I must present what looked like a dollar bill size piece of paper as confirmation. Unheard of!! What legitimate business in this day and age is adamant about a paper coupon looking confirmation or else refuse to honoring purchase (again..I presented printed gift certificate confirmation with certificate verification code). Today's market everywhere honors an abundance of forms of purchase confirmation to include digital certificates & concert tickets brought up on smart phones, printed reservation numbers for hotel, email confirmations with code confirmation ect. It's a digital marketplace and computer records are absolutely standard and expected. Quite honestly I completely appalled at the lack of professionalism and organization after being so excited to celebrate my son's 18 birthday (who happens to leaves for college in a few short weeks). This was supposed to be our special day. The young woman eventually realized that the entire interaction was not ok and agreed that since I could not produce the paper dollar size coupon (as opposed to 4 other pieces of information I offered up) that my son could jump after all if I paid an extra $80 dollars. I actually broke down and agreed because this was supposed to be his day to celebrate his birthday not to mention we had already invested several hours of driving to make this happen. I told her my son was upset and not trusting of the whole operation at this point and was sitting out in the car. She offered to walk out to our car to offer that he could jump after all (one nice gesture anyway). I was grateful for that and appreciated her more gentle nature finally but my son declined. I believe we both felt at that point that if a business isn't together enough to be able to look up a confirmation or certificate number for gift certificates (she communicated to me they were a small operation which didn't do computer records) that we sure as heck didn't feel comfortable enough to trust them to have parachutes and ropes in order to be a safe operation, trusting them with our lives. Most disappointed. What a waste of a great deal of time and uncompensated money when I definitely had other things to do including my grad school work that I put off in order to honor my son that day. Bad, bad business. No good recommendations coming from me about this organization on my side of the bridge.

Dear Holly, we sincerely regret that you feel this way. It was neither our intention to disappoint nor upset both you and your son from what should have been an amazing day. As this review is in such a public forum, we think it’s important that we clarify the issue which centers around two points. The first is that the gift certificates were expired. Because of this, our online system wouldn’t accept them and is why you had to call to make a booking. We happily honored the certificates at their full value despite them being expired. The second issue is our gift certificates are transferable meaning anyone can use / redeem them that has possession of them. All communications sent via e-mail acknowledging that the certificates would be mailed include clear instructions that the actual certificate would need to be presented for redemption. Additionally, the communication clearly states that lost certificates cannot be reissued. The certificate itself clearly states in large, uppercase, bold letters “CERTIFICATE MUST BE PRESENTED FOR REDEMPTION.” You are correct that many businesses today do have automated systems for their certificates, but as a smaller operation that doesn’t sell a high volume of certificates, it has not been a necessity for us. Because our certificates are transferable, it is possible that someone could still redeem them (this has happened before and is why we communicate the need to physically bring the certificates). We understand your frustration especially with the special event involved. We hope you can understand our position of trying to operate our business responsibly. We feel we couldn’t have communicated more about the necessity of having the certificates physically present at check-in. The assertion that we are an unsafe business isn’t justified considering our outstanding safety record throughout the last 15 years. Safety is our number one priority and we implement exhaustive safety checks on our equipment and aircraft and hire the very best instructors in the industry. As a family-owned operation, we are passionate about our customers and skydiving. We pride ourselves on delivering a world-class experience by not being focused on high volume, but rather high quality. We think our reviews on all public forums reflect this. We wish this outcome would have been different. If you’d like to discuss this further, we’d be happy to speak with you about it. Sincerely, Jeanice Dolan, Owner

Sky diving has been something my boyfriend and I talked about doing for a long time. Last week for his birthday I decided to surprise him with a jump! Our experience was nothing short of amazing! It was so much more than we had hoped and envisioned it would be. When we first arrived and checked in they were on a delay because of the wind and bad weather, the staff provided hourly updates on the status of our jump to keep us informed! Once they started jumping again the staff worked quickly and efficiently to make sure all jumpers were able to jump on their scheduled day. I had Kalay as my jump master and my boyfriend had Adam as his, for two first time jumpers they made us feel so comfortable and taken care of. They checked in multiple times throughout the flight and prior to the jump, asked how we were feeling, gave great instruction when it was time to jump and most importantly made the entire jump process effortless. I would also like to comment on how great the boys who prepare the parachutes were, those guys take great care in making sure all aspects of our landing and take off run as smooth as possible. Last but not least I would like to thank Jeanice for hospitality and caring nature, having taken the time to learn about Keandre and I as a couple. Her guidance through the jump instructions and training was so helpful. If you are nervous about booking please take the time to talk to the staff, meet the jump masters hear their stories about how sky diving changed their lives. Sky diving cannot be summed up in any amount of words, it is truly a incredible experience that my boyfriend and I will cherish for the rest of our lives. P.S. if you are on the fence about buying a photo or video package, DO IT! I have watched our videos 20+ times in a week, it is also a great way to share your memory with family and friends. Happy jumping!

Took my (18 yr. old) daughter there for her first skydive, she was quite nervous, but the guy (Louie) she was jumping with made her feel more at ease. She said the freefall was pretty intense, and when Louie opened the parachute, it was just the most beautiful view, seeing Ocean city and Assateague island from up there! She wants to save up and go back to jump again!! She said it was the experience of a lifetime!

My mom bought me and her a tandem skydive for my 30th birthday. It was the funnest thing I've ever done. We were never scared until the door opened. Then she went out first then me. Once I was out on the wing the fear was totally gone. It was amazing. Me and her both vant wait to do this again. I highly recommend it to everyone. Awesome view and awesome instructors. Thanks daniel and josh.
