Berlin bills itself as "the coolest small town in America". They may be right. Between the shops/antique stores, restaurants, and old buildings, it's a great place to spend the afternoon. All the shopkeepers were so friendly. I loved my visit and cannot wait to go back.

What a wonderful day trip from the coast. A quaint, friendly town with lots of small shops. Perfect for a nice spring, summer or fall day trip.

Berlin is such a great little town. It was well deserving of it's Americas Coolest Small Town win. So many great shops, places to eat and drink, stay and just hang out. You don't feel like it is forced, it really is that quaint and friendly. Just minutes from the beach, so visitors to the area can see what the... More

This was our second visit to Berlin. It is a beautiful town with an abundance of late 19th century charm and friendly people. Various small antique shops to visit and places to grab a quick bite or drink. My wife and I have yet to make it there during a warm month but I can imagine the place is bustling... More

Great shops along 4 blocks. Several cute boutiques and lots of antiques Not all of them were open, but we enjoyed the ones that were.

Berlin, MD was beautiful and I love all the brick buildings. My favorite thing was exploring all the little shops and wandering through the little alleyways.

We found the folks to be very helpful and friendly! Loved that. And there were a LOT of shops along the Main Street and on side streets. So fun to visit. We want to come back again. There seems to be lots going on here.

We love to walk the streets and shop. This area is like stepping back in time. They have used this town for filming movies it is so unique. A wonderful area to take leisurely weekend.

We live on the Delmarva Peninsula about 45 minutes away and this town is one of the reasons so many of us over here drive all over the Peninsula. When you are here you just choose a place as my family puts it, as "Your Home Bases" and then you get out and enjoy all that this beautiful land has... More

Named America's coolest small town! Boutiques, antiques, and specialty stores galore. Everything is small town, mom and pop stuff. Highly recommend the glass blowing studio, the country store, and Bruder Hill boutique. Also check out the oil & vinegar shop (free tastings, OMG!), bakery, the charcuterie store, and the Maryland wine shop for a little taste of Paris in Berlin.... More
