    Cute historical district
The historic district of Berlin is adorable. The buildings are so well kept and preserved. There are so many nice stores. We also had the best ice cream that we’ve ever had at the island ice cream shop.

    Such a cool place
I came here on a Saturday in the Spring because I had some time to kill and it looked like a neat place to walk around. I wasn't expecting to see many people at all in this small town; however, the time I picked seemed to be some kind of festival going on so it was completely packed. But that was really nice. It's a beautiful little town with a really charming atmosphere. I went in most of the shops and really enjoyed my time there.

    Such a cute town
One of the cutest towns I have seen. I stopped at the welcome center and found out the town was the setting for the Runaway Bride movie. There was a walking tour of sites used. The town is full of wonderful shops and restaurants. I ended up spending several hours there.

This is a old old village with very narrow streets. You can walk around the whole town in a easy pace in a half an hour. Unless you're with a your significant other, she'll want to go into every shop. You'll be, here for hours. Do not allow your wife to talk to you into coming here, there are tons of little shops with overpriced little dust catchers nick-nacks and things that are way way overpriced. You know things that you'll keep in your house for a few years and then your wife will sell for a nickel at her big garage sale.

Buddy all I can say is, the only place where you might find sanctuary around here is the ice cream shop. The fact that you found yourself here tells me you've already lost but Perhaps you can talk her into letting you wait there for her. Perhaps when you think here will not be something that makes you sad.

We have been to Berlin many times during summer and found stores open and friendly, that was not the case this time around at the end of September. Only a few shops open, others said open at 11 but didn’t and many closed early. The larger antique emporium said closed at 5pm.. husband and I walked in at 4:40 to be “greeted” at the door by an older lady literally shoooing us back out the door saying we are closed. We were among several groups wondering the streets at 11am looking for any open coffee shop. Only place we found was a cute juice bar but you have to walk and search as most places were closed on Mondays. If you plan to visit off season just know before you go… stores open late, or not at all and close early.

This was a nice diversion from the Ocean City beaches. The only comment of note is that most store didn’t open until 11:00 am. We wanted to visit the local coffee shop only to find that it was closed with a sign that said they were short of staff and temporarily closed. We did find a bakery where we’re able to have a pastry and coffee. After the shops opened we enjoyed the Greyhound Book Store and several of the boutiques and the general store. We spent about 3 hours there and saw it all!

It's a small area, but full of nice shops and restaurants. We go there at least once a month and always take our visitors there for an enjoyable time. With so many places to eat you'll find something you'll like. If you're visiting the area, this is one location to put on your list to visit.

This area is only a 20 minute drive from Assateague Beach and well worth the stop. There are a few blocks of quaint shops, boutiques, toy stores, souvenirs (not tacky), restaurants and an amazing ice cream shop. There is plenty of parking, the streets are clean and people are friendly. It reminds me of old time, middle America. There is even a mermaid museum but it was closed by the time we arrived.

My family I spent time at Main Street Berlin a month ago. We were tired of hitting the Eastern Shore (MD/DE) beaches each day. Also, the weather was cloudy, with the threat of rain, so we needed something else to do. In the covid era, this little downtown offers an interesting mix of antique stores, other stores, and restaurants/coffee shops. We meandered contentedly for a couple of hours.

Berlin is a small quaint town not far from the hustle and bustle of Ocean City. It doesn't take long to walk and there's time to browse the unique boutiques and have a meal or a snack. A visit to the Mermaid Museum might be enjoyable, too!

This is a very quaint town but parking was hard to find. When we finally got a spot, walking the streets window shopping was vey expensive. I think it started as a nice idea but it has gotten out of control. I was disappointed.

Berlin‘s Main Street is always a must see when you’re in town. There are so many shops, bakeries, antique stores, trinkets stores, to see. It’s fun walking up and down the street on the sidewalks and peeking in windows and visiting little shops. Sometimes it can get very extremely busy during the summer season and on weekends. Keep in mind there’s a lot of traffic on the streets and be careful when crossing streets. But always a wonderful experience.
