We’ve been vacationing in ocean city md for most of my life and we’ve tried it all, this year we wanted to try something new and more based in nature. After a google search I found Ayers creek adventures. Booking was quick and easy and compared to most tourist activities the cost was reasonable. Our group of four had a blast, learned and saw a lot, our guide was excellent and easy to interact with, and most importantly the creek is beautiful and the kayak trip was relaxing. We will definitely come back at least for kayak rentals if not the whole tour again next year!

My husband and I had another pleasant paddle with Ayers Creek. We were here last year for the Forest Paddle and this year we paddled the salt marsh. It was a beautiful morning, Ayers were very efficient and professional. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the watershed, the wildlife and landscape. We say some great birds including Kingfishers, terns, Great Blue Herons, Egrets, a Green Heron and a Bald Eagle.
Making a reservation and paying online was very easy and when we realized that we wanted to change from the tour we booked to another paddle, it was easy.
We will definitely return when we visit again next year.

My Fiancé, and I went on the Sunset tour, we had Suzy as our guide. She was so friendly, and knew quite a bit about the history around the creek. Not only just about the creek, but she knew so much about the animals around, in, and above flying around. I loved learning so many new things about Maryland, and the Ayers Creek. The sunset was perfect, and it is just so much more gorgeous when you’re on the water. Thank You Suzy we had a wonderful time! We will be back!

My boyfriend and I took a trip to Ocean City in the last week of July, we wanted to get away from the crowds and take advantage of the outdoor activities in the area. Ayers Creek had good reviews so we booked with them and were very happy with our experience! Our tour was scheduled to start at 1 pm, we got there ahead of time and since we were the only people in our time slot they let us get on the water early! We were greeted by their friendly dog and relaxed at the shore seating area until it was time to paddle out. The staff were very knowledgable on the waters and wildlife of the area and easy to converse with, making it a relaxing and enjoyable tour. Would definitely book with them again the next time we visit MD!

We called and left a message, shortly after we received a call back. We discussed the different tours available since we are only in town for a couple of days. We booked a kayak tour for the two of us. We arrived and Suzy was our guide for the afternoon trip. She went over the basics reminders of padding with my wife. We went out and Suzy was very informative and helpful telling us about the Forested Wetlands Exploration she was taking us on. The entire trip telling us about the area, and the wildlife. It was a windy day but we had a fantastic time and absolutely will go again when in the area. We highly recommend them and they are a must go if you are interested in a relaxing kayak tour! They do from small groups and larger groups up to 40 or so people on a trip if you have a large group of friends, family to go with. Call them to ask the full details! You will not be disappointed!

This was a great experience. There was a nice small group, and Steve the guide was very nice. From making the reservation to getting back in our car, it was a wonderful experience and is appropriate for all levels of people who would like to kayak. Everything was well-organized and as described. The only feedback would be to have a bit of lighting on the grounds upon return. It was pretty dark and difficult to see. This experience was worth the money as we saw bald eagles, herons, egrets, and muscrats as well as the beautiful scenes along the river. Thanks Steve!

Wonderful kayak tour of the salt marshes. Steve was a very knowledgeable guide — he knows every inch of the creek and marshes. He gave us a lot of information but also allowed us to absorb the habitat. The weather was perfect and we saw a number of bald eagles, ducks, and other birds (and hardly any humans). Maneuvering the kayak was very easy even for non-experienced kayakers, and the contraption to board makes it easy to get in and out. The creek and marshes are truly beautiful and we can’t wait to come back.

My friend and I had never been kayaking before and Suzy was a great teacher. She gave us some instruction on paddling beforehand and then gave clear instructions out on the water if we needed them. The scenery was peaceful and beautiful and we couldn't have asked for a nicer experience.

We had a great time and experience with Ayers Creek, There were 5 of us in total, they were very helpful in getting us all set up and fitted with our life jackets. Loading into the kayaks was so simple and we stayed dry with their easy to access dock system. We enjoyed our time on the wet lands and saw lots of wildlife and will so do this adventure again on our return stay to Ocean City. Thank you so much Ayers Creek for a great time and wonderful memories... :)

My family came to visit and we booked the morning Wetlands tour and had a great time. Our tour guide was so informative about the wetlands, the habitat, and all of the different plants and animals we saw along our tour. The Ayres Creek team had accommodations for our entire group, which consisted of 5 to 50 year old kayakers! Can't wait to do this again!

Is it suitable for senior citizens? We are both sufficiently active to still work as teachers.

Yes, We are suitable for all ages. We have had customers well into their 80s. We are on a calm water location and have a yak-a-launcher which makes it very easy to get in and out of the kayaks. If you would like more information please give us a call.
Thank You,
Suzy
