Friends took us here. There is a nice park and a visitors' center. The frosty on the cake is however the falls themselves. Views of them from at least two locations.

Wonderful place to visit with out of town guests or just by yourself. I generally go to the Maryland side as it is closer to my home but the views are great on either side of the falls.

There are plenty of easy trails and great views of the falls. My 2 year old son had a great time and the trails were easy for him. I would recommend visiting this place because it gives you a different look of the Potomac River.
