The Church is Beautiful and Colorful. The Parishioners are very friendly and welcoming. The Sermon was upbeat and about Miracles.

A Trip To a Different Time and Place
Mar 2019
This church is beautiful and has a devout following. If you worship icons, this is a place to go. You can feel the religious fervor of the communicants. The long services follow the Melkite rites, which differ from many Roman Catholic services. The sermons really hit home.
After the Sunday service, you can purchase a delicious Lebanese meal or take home some Oriental sweets.
It is the next best thing to a trip to Beirut.

Hear the Call of Greatness

The Middle Eastern Food Festival held at the church is great. The aromas from grills were divine. You can have your fill of good fellowship, hospitality, food, dance, music, and games. There are vendors with many items for sale. If you come at the right time a lamb dinner is available. There are church tours obtainable. Be respectful of the dwelling, nature, and customs when inside the church.

Wonderful Greek Church Community and Middle Eastern Food Festival
Sep 2017 • Family
We visited Holy Transfiguration Greek Church during the Labor Day weekend for the Middle Eastern Food Festival. Although we had 2 small lap dogs in tow with us, the people were very friendly and accommodating. The food was very tasty but we came near the end of the day and they were already out of some items. We'll have to return again.

An amazing, faithful parish from the early church! Several amazing relics
Jan 2017 • Couples
I first visited Holy Transfiguration three years ago for the Middle Eastern Food Festival on Labor Day from a coworker's invite. I was totally blown away!!! Visited on and off for about two years before deciding I couldn't resist any longer and to join the Melkite Greek Catholic Church. This is my favorite parish ever - amazing liturgy, sermons, pursuit of holiness, and community. The Melkite Church is from the See of Antioch, the oldest church in the world (St. Peter was the first bishop before he journeyed to Rome!) and uses the Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom. I visited several other parishes with Orthodox liturgies and this one does it the best! Melkite is fully Catholic - Catholics and Orthodox are welcome to receive Holy Communion.

There are several first class relics, including a Relic of the True Cross, St. Joseph, St. Anne, and more.
