This was my first visit to Canyonlands and I loved it. The weather in April was mild and windy and I'm glad I had dressed in layers that day.

Islands in the Sky district is the most accessible, the primary attraction there is amazing views across the Colorado Plateau. Needles district has some amazing hikes but you generally have to work a bit harder to get there at Needles. Both are worth the time.

This is another treasure of a national park. The views are expansive and fabulous. Everything about this park is equally as beautiful as its more famous neighbor. Don't miss this.

This could be the land of the Titanomachy, the war of the Titans, their bodies turned into stone and crushed by time and the elements. Or maybe the graveyard of long forgotten spaceships lying aligned and covered in dust.... or whatever your imagination will make...More

Most RVs are OK as long as they stay on the paved roads. The park is divided into 4 sections. The only ones I would try to access are Island in the Sky and Needles. I pulled a small trailer into Needles, no problem. While... More
