This fun trail is right in Moab. That said, be sure to have a properly equipped vehicle, with a lift, lockers, and good tires. There are some really steep areas that do not have places to go around. There are also several difficult obstacles that can be bypassed. Be sure to take the detour to the Colorado River Overlook. The... More

Being from Michigan, this was like a different planet for me. It still amazes me that you can off-road (4x4, mountain bike, hike) in such a place. A unique experience

Not a beginners trail, but one of the best Moab has to offer if you got the skills. I would suggest go with someone experienced or hire a guide the first time, it can be tricky.

We accidently drove up the road to Sand Flats road in the mini van. The guy at the booth looked at us like we were crazy. He asked us what we wanted to do, and I said look at cool stuff. He smiled and let us thru the gate. We drove up as high as we could and realized we... More

Scary but lots of fun! Driving your own UTV, unbelievable! The scenery, views and at times precariousness was thrilling! Slow but scary, looking to either side of the UTV and seeing nothing but emptiness! Sometimes going vertical… crazy fun! And our guide, Ben was awesome! His knowledge of the area and history was great, highly recommend!

My family and I were a littler concerned that this trail was going to be too scary for our kids, but they loved it.

This was the highlight of my trip! I was unsure of what to expect and I can honestly say this was one of the best vacation experiences I have had. You are immediately thrown into the meat of the tour when you have to pass "Devils Backbone" to enter the trail. I was momentarily contemplating to back out and quit... More
