My husband and I explored the Brand Trail system during our recent trip to Moab. As someone who has never mountain biked before I felt like this was a great trail system to try. Definitely recommend that you check it out during your visit.
This area was an excellent choice for introduction to slick-rock mountain biking. A wide variety of difficulty in the trail network, including wide open slick-rock trails. Almost the entire network had wonderful views of the area, including distant views of Arches NP.

Trails are well-marked, with names /and maps/ at all intersections. It it easy to construct tours at different riding levels and durations by connecting intersecting loops. My thanks to the many volunteers, contributors, and land-management agencies that make this area possible.
