We did three things in Moab: Arches National Park, Hawaiian shaved ice and of course the Rock Shop! It is like shopping from a personal collection. Everything is labeled and some rock cost as little as a dollar. I bought fool's gold as a souvenir....More

I bought some local rocks and had them shipped home. They have something for every price level- from a few dollars and up.

Even if you hate rocks (by the way earth is a big rock) you gotta see this place. The owner Lin Ottinger is a character and his shop is unlike anything you've ever seen. rocks here. Rocks there. Rocks everywhere. And fossils and bones too!...More

Rim Tours suggested we go here, that it may be a little touristy, but was interesting. It was! They offer a lot of geological curiosities. A great way to spend an hour in between activities. There was also a peaches and cherries stand next door,...More

This place is super interesting. It's full of all kinds of different rocks, fossils, petrified wood, dinosaur bones, etc. Your kids will love wandering around inside. There's a lot of stuff for adults too. It is, however, a bit pricey.

Lots of rocks, minerals and fossils inside and out. It is a bit cramped inside, especially if they are busy, but still fun to browse around.

This place is always #1 on my family’s list on our yearly Moab vacation. The prices are very reasonable for a tourist town rock shop. They have something of everything. We have spent hours here.
