We were the very first company to create this tour and are the most experienced, every other company is following our lead! Small child friendly. Guests 18 years of age with a valid drivers licence may take turns driving while navigating a true off~road rock crawling trail. Let our local guides take you on a breathtaking tour of Hell's Revenge, Moab's most sought out off-road destination! You will not believe where we take you and you will learn to “trust the machines”. It's like a slow moving roller coaster on twisting, turning trails that lead you over some of Moab's toughest Slickrock! It's like riding a lizard! Smaller groups are our specialty and on our tour everyone has a window seat! This adventure has very steep climbs and descents so Please Note: That if you have a fear of heights, this may not be the Tour for you. We are a family business with 7 Generations of knowledge.

We went on the sunset ride in a group of 5 UTV’ s. Booking was easy online and check in was smooth, with parking available for our car. My husband was driving and was given a full safety talk before we set off. Our guide was very good at ensuring all vehicles kept together and were in the correct gear, etc. We had fun following the guide over the slip rocks, there were a couple of really steep ones at the beginning, so be prepared for that if you are a first timer..... but as our guide reminded us we ‘just trusted the vehicle’! We made a few stops along the way and our guide was really informative about the history of the area that she had grown up in..it is clear that the owners of this business really care about Moab and the surrounding area and about doing things right! I would love to have had a few hours conversation with our guide as she was had so much local knowledge and history, really interesting and added to the experience. Overall we really enjoyed the trip, it was our first time doing this and although some parts felt a little ‘scary’ we really felt in safe hands when following our guide’s directions. I would have no hesitation in recommending Moab Cowboy for anyone planning on doing a UTV tour.

The day our initial tour was scheduled, it was raining and thunder most of the day. It started to clear up slightly, but we had a lot of kids with us, and we knew the cold weather would not be fun for them. We called the office and asked if we could get scheduled for the next day as the weather looked better. They had no problem switching us to the next day and we had a great day. Now in the middle of our tour, my friend's personal UTV, which was part of the tag a long, had their belt go out. Our tour guides made some calls to make sure the UTV was not left in there at night and not at a price that would make anyone cringe. The person they contacted even had to go in their twice too, as my friend had taken the key and the UTV was in four-wheel-drive. We received the UTV about midnight and couldn't believe the compassion and willingness to help. All my UTV tours will be booked with Moab Cowboy Country Offroad Adventures in the future.

We were really happy with our sunset tour. Cowboy only does small groups or 3-4 so that makes the experience better and probably safer. I would highly recommend them as they provided good information on history of the area and personal experience living there.

So worth the money, 3 hour sunset tour with a great guide who loved for you to have a little fun and avoid the ‘easy way’ on the trails. Our 17 and 9 year old equally had an amazing time. Would highly recommend and join another tour with you when we are in town again!

This was literally unforgettable experience ever! We decided to have a spontaneous trip to Moab after watching a few YouTube videos about the offroading trails. Nonetheless, after doing some research we knew that Moab Cowboy Country Offroad Adventures will be the best choice - sure enough, we couldn't be happier with our selection after we experienced the sunset tour with Cricket! This is a family owner business which has generations of the family living in the area. We were thrilled to hear all the knowledge, ask questions and just soak in the Moab culture. The sunset was AMAZING and those pictures we captured are going straight into the printer right now. We created absolutely unforgettable memories and I believe this experience wouldn't be as it was if we would go with other company. Cricket & Kent make sure to provide you the safest experience, they pay attention and make sure you feel comfortable and having fun! Give yourself a true treat and book a tour with Cricket & Kent! This was our third trip with cowboy. Great time as always. Trail is getting crowded but Cricket navigated us thru the people and we were able to see everything. Both have lots of knowledge about Moab. These guys were the original and are still the best. My wife and I highly recommend the sunset tour.

This is an exhilarating experience and something everyone must try in Moab if you love adventure and thrill. We did the morning 3-hour experience with two kids ages 9 and 12. It starts off with a steep climb and drop and continues to be fun with different levels of difficulty. You'll see dinosaur tracks, greats views and even other ATVs climbing up hell's gate. The ATVs are amazing machines and both Kent and his wife are kind and careful at every step along the way making sure the vehicle is in the right mode and that everyone is following along. Will definitely ride again when in Moab.

And they did not disappoint one bit. This time I came with my extended family and we all had a great time exploring the trails and rocks of the Moab backcountry. Clearly safety is a clear concern for them and the tour guide did a great job watching out for us. My son got a stuck at one point in the little sand pit and within seconds, the tour guide was running back up the trail when she saw that we were disconnected from the group. I really appreciated that. All in all, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for Backcountry 4 wheel drive trip.

This was a total blast and I would recommend it to everyone. Wee chose to have the guided tour. Cricket was amazing! We saw a wedding, went up and down rock formations that made you feel like you could tip over yet I knew we wouldn't due to her skilled driving and even saw dinosaur prints. I highly recommend to go on this one! We would all go again if we could

Our group of 5 rides booked 2 private tours with Moab Cowboy's guides, Dave & Beverly. We did Fins & Things and Hell's Revenge the 1st day and Steel Bender the 2nd. Dave & Beverly are everything you could ask for as guides. Knowledgeable about the area and riding, plus the added bonus of being super friendly. They both have a great sense of humor and are very patient with us rock climbing "newbies". We immediately trusted their expertise. One of the many things that amazed me was that they understood the different needs of each of our vehicles, since we came with a combination of wheel bases and clearance capabilities and yet, they got us through all 3 trails with smiles on our faces. I highly recommend using this team, especially if it is your first trip. We plan on going back next year and having them take us back to Hell's Revenge and hopefully running Poison Spider with them. THANK YOU Moab Cowboy for one of the best vacations ever!

Usually it’s that time of the year the evenings are cooler. Our tours are always weather dependent. We do not do them if there’s a safety hazard such as lightning! If we cancel due to weather it’s 100% refund. We are a small company therefore we recommend booking in advance because we fill up fast. Let us know if we can answer any more of your questions.

We are planning on visiting Moab in mid-June. Will the temperatures during the day be too hot at this time of the year. Would the sunset time be the best choice?

Last year we had a hotter than usual June so it's hard to know exactly what the temperatures will be. However the morning tours begin at 8:30 and so towards the end of the tour it tends to be hotter and the sunset tour begins two hours prior to Sunset so the beginning of that is usually hotter but cools off as the evening continues. hi this is Cricket and we do the Sunset Tour in April we just recommend that people bring layers so in case they get cold they can put a jacket or a sweater on. There could be a freak cold storm but we would know more the day before and Could advise you how to dress. I hope this helps and thank you for your inquiry.

Yes you can drive your own UTV, it is exciting, and recommended if you have a sense of adventure. We took a shorter tour, about an hour and a half total, and it was perfect for us and our kids (7 and 9) at the time.
The owners of Cowboy Country are really great and easy to talk to. I got the impression that they will sort of customize a tour for you, within limits of course.. We were there in early July and Moab was busy, but we were the only ones on our tour, around 1 pm. I am sure they would be happy to help you.
