Ephedra's Grotto 1/2 day canyoneering tour was awesome. Our guide Jake took good care of us. We were beginners and learned to rappel down to the canyon. This was a dry canyon so no need to swim or wade in water. We crossed a few little creeks and you could jump in to get cooled. Jake also taught us about the plants and life in the canyon. Very interesting! Even though this was for beginners the two rappels were not insignificant! For a moment I hesitated but after seeing others go down safely I did it too!! Such a rush!! I am hooked! I wore my Keens with good back straps and had a thin long sleeve shirt to protect me from the sun. Definitely need comfortable shoes. Even though it is June the canyon was cool in the morning. They provided us with backbacks and climbing gear.

Loved our Trainer and Guide! She was really awesome in introducing rockclimbing to us! Coming from Texas, a flat state where NO mountians exist or any rock climbing gyms we were curious about the sport and my husband and I tried it for the first time and actually climbed 2 rocks lol. Safetly was always established and great teaching. Would recommend the beginners class!!

We had a great experience canyoneering with Brian. We enjoyed the hike and repelling down a 80ft cliff. We felt safe the entire time and enjoyed the experience!

We did a 1/2 day Bow and Arrow canyoneering trip with Mike as our guide; he was great! This was the first attempt for all of us and his patience and his ability to make us feel comfortable was greatly appreciated. Throughout the hike up to the point of the rappelling, he pointed out several points of interest along the way; petroglyphs, flowers, trees, etc. I'm glad we decided to give this a try. Doing something a bit outside of your comfort zone is a challenge, but Mike made it much easier to do. I would highly recommend this trip, and I am so glad we did it. It was the highlight of our trip to Moab! (we were a family of 4 adults but that wasn't one of the options for telling who was on this trip. One of us was turning 70!)
