Ephedra's Grotto 1/2 day canyoneering tour was awesome. Our guide Jake took good care of us. We were beginners and learned to rappel down to the canyon. This was a dry canyon so no need to swim or wade in water. We crossed a few little creeks and you could jump in to get cooled. Jake also taught us about the plants and life in the canyon. We had a great experience canyoneering with Brian. We enjoyed the hike and repelling down a 80ft cliff. We felt safe the entire time and enjoyed the experience!

Throughout the hike up to the point of the rappelling, he pointed out several points of interest along the way; petroglyphs, flowers, trees, etc. I'm glad we decided to give this a try. Doing something a bit outside of your comfort zone is a challenge, but Mike made it much easier to do. I would highly recommend this trip, and I am so glad we did it. It was the highlight of our trip to Moab! (we were a family of 4 adults but that wasn't one of the options for telling who was on this trip. One of us was turning 70!)…
