Friends advised us to get a guide in Moab and that was absolutely the right call. Moab is the US Headquarters for mountain biking, with hundred of miles of trails in all directions, for all levels of rider. Mike at Magpie put us just the right trails at just the right time according to our skill level, and shared his... More

We are beginners in mountain-biking and had an excellent day with our guide Sasha. He trained us individually, competent and with a lot of spirit and passion. So we learned the most important basics to climb up steps and to control the bike in downhill parts. We had a lot of fun the whole day. greetz judith&chris

My husband and I were picked up by Anne at our hotel in the morning for a full day of mountain biking (we booked a private, guided full day tour). Anne took us to Moab Brand Trails to assess our biking abilities. She gave us instruction in the parking lot which made us much more comfortable on the trails. We... More

Upon contacting Magpie Cycling, Maggie called me with some detailed information on how to best plan a half-day mountain biking trip for my family. She called me back (again) later that night with even more information to discuss how to cater the trip to our specific requests. We did not want a boring trail ride but needed to stay safe... More

My wife and I had a guided, full-day instructional mountain bike ride. Anne, our guide and instructor, provided careful coaching and choices of trails helped my wife regain her confidence on the bike, and improve her skills quickly. Although Anne concentrated on working with my wife—the intent of our session—she also gave me a number of tips and techniques to... More

We chose Magpie based on the recommendation of our local coach (A SingleTrack Mind) because Magpie follows the same MTB skill development and coaching style. Glad we did. Wonderful time and Anne is truly the best.

Ann gave my husband and I all that we had hoped for in our bike tour. Having limited, and not the best mountain biking experience, I was excited but hesitant. Ann taught us some much needed skills, gave us a great progression of rides. By the end of the day, we not only had a great time, but our skills... More

Maggie is a fantastic instructor! We started with about an hour of skills training on asphalt. Then we headed out to SlickRock and worked on ascending and descending skills for about 2 hours. Next was a trip to Klondike Bluff and we rode Easy to Moderate trails and put into practice my newly developed skills. I am 58 years old... More

Four guys and four days in Moab. How could that go wrong? And it didn't. The highlight of the trip was the two days we spent riding with Mike, one of the owners of Magpie Cycling. We were a diverse group of riders in terms of skill and he did a phenomenal job assessing capabilities and comfort at the onset... More
