No longer simply a rafting company, Red River Adventures is a leader in Moab multi-sport vacations! Don't be fooled by others offering "one stop" shopping only to be shuffled among the true providers once you arrive. We are the only guide service in town that holds permits to guide river, canyoneering, rock climbing, SUP and National Parks trips in house. On land or water our guides can do almost everything. For those trips we can't run ourselves, we've teamed up with some of Moab's best and will let you know, in advance, who will be guiding you. For one day or more we've got something for everyone!

My family (husband, two teenagers) and I approached this activity with some anxiety due to our complete inexperience with rappelling and rock climbing. Our guides, Adam and Terence, were patient and careful teachers, and I was able to immediately trust their attention to detail and...More

Want to experience the Colorado River while in Moab? This is the company to hire. We took 10 including 5 first timers on the Fisher Towers tour. Great ride, exciting but reasonable rapids. Float segments full of splash wars, swimming and sunshine. Jesse and Mary,...More

We had an amazing day canyoneering and repelling. The views were unbelievable. Our guide Terrance was well informed about the area as well as a very experienced climber making us feel very safe. Bring plenty of water.

What kind of shoes do you recommend for the Chamisa Canyon canyoneering trip? Water shoes, old sneakers, waterproof boots..?

Any shoe or sandal that you can hike 3 miles in and can get wet. They can be open toe or closed it doesn't matter. Hybrids like Keen, Chaco or Teva work well but honestly any trail or road runner will work. Waterproof is... More

We are two adults with 2 teenage girls. One of the adults would be absolutely terrified if there was a chance the raft may flip. We are planning to arrive around May 1st. is there less chance of capsizing during the 1/2 day trip, than there is the full-day?

May is early in the season and the river is usually class II. There is very little chance that a raft would flip. We have the ability to avoid some of the bigger features if our guests wish to do so to further mitigate the... More

Hello! We are a mother-daughter pair (20 something and 60 something). We are looking to either do a 1/2 day Fischer Towers rafting trip or full day Fischer Towers trip in late May 2017. We would like to know the differences in what each trip offers. We are tight on time and are thinking of only doing the 1/2 day, but if there is a larger enough difference in the experience of a full-day rafting adventure then we could be swayed to book a full day with Red River! Thanks in advance!

Although we do offer 1/2 day options I would strongly recommend our Fisher Towers Full Day trip. Over the past 12 years I have found that the first thing most of our half day customers say is that they wish they had booked... More
