We camped here for three nights. I wouldn't call it a lake... not even by Moab standards. But the campground was clean, quiet and so dark at night. It was a great home while we were there exploring. Quick to town, too.

The lake was suffering from a drought (even after a good amount of rain while I was there). The road up into the mountain is were the real scenic views are. Waterfalls and caves are in the back, and worth exploring.

We drove here from Moab thinking it would be a fun restful and not so hot way to spend an afternoon. The lake is so evaporated you’d have to walk a mile to the beach area! We then tried the water access option but the...More

It looks to be a great place to swim and camp, but right now the water level is down to 25%. Stop back after monsoon season. It should rock then!

Nice park and lake. Access to ATV, hiking and biking trails. Beautiful views. Quiet. However, Hosts need to enforce leash rules and clean up..both the campground and lakefront had 'piles' everywhere. Disposal bags are provided. Would stay again.

Cool place to watch the sun rise over the mountains, especially if you're staying in Moab and don't want to make the longer drive to Arches or Canyonlands.

Well, the banks of the articificial lake fed by a waterfall which comes from a drain pipe through the La Sal mountains are very much rocky. Water is refreshing. Mostly there are locals with dogs, some do bbq. There is no shade. You need not...More

A small reservoir just out of Moab. Nice place to relax and camp or just spend the day. Cab be a place to catch some fish, if you are so inclined.

If you continue down the dirt road by the RV camping area (follow the Old Airport road) there is a very interesting waterfall. It is called Faux Falls because it is man made - it comes from a drain pipe through the mountain from a...More
