Very educational. Rick the tour guide was amazing story teller, and clearly loves what he does. He made it very enjoyable, and I love the history lessons he shared. My two sons ages 12 and 6 very much enjoy it as well. Highly recommend doing the tour. Hoping to do his day time tours while in town too.

This was an awesome experience! Decided to come for my birthday and was not disappointed. Great story telling in a great (creepy) atmosphere. Tour guide was so well versed in the history and connected historical proof to paranormal events/experiences. He also conveyed the history and stories in an entertaining way -- definitely kept my attention for the whole tour. And this is coming from someone who doesn't really care for history all that much! Not to mention, I might have captured something on my camera.... Would love to come again! I highly suggest this to anyone passing through the area!

Our group met Rick on time at St. Pete's Church and we were ready to go when the second half of the tour group showed up. Before we started, Rick indicated that the governor had indicated if we were outside we didn't have to wear face masks. He was not wearing a mask when we showed up or when we went into the church. And that was fine and he should have left it at that. But he didn't. The next words out of his mouth were that the virus (Covid-19) was a hoax anyway. He announced the CDC had revised their death numbers on their website downward to about 9,000 from the previous 180,000 plus number who died of Covid. Rather than get into an argument in front of the group, I said we should agree to disagree and get on with the tour. He continued on insisting the entire thing was a hoax and that no where near 180,000 plus people had died. I told him my grandmother had just died recently from Covid-19 and he continued for another 2-3 minutes to insist it was all a hoax and dismissed my request we get on with the tour. His behavior was completely inappropriate. I spent the remainder of the tour quietly seething. The other members of my group were similarly appalled. My grandmother died of Covid, my mother's husband recovered after being sick for two months and hospitalized and a close friend in her 30's struggled to get over it. That's just me. I know other family and friends with similar situations. I don't need medical opinions from a tour guide anymore than I would take them from an Uber driver. Skip the conspiracy theories and the tour.

Yes, I staterd the facts that the CDC revised it's numbers down, but I NEVER SAID IT WAS A TOTAL HOAX! That is simply untrue. I'm very sorry your grandmother passed away, but this is not a review, it is an emotially based politicical statement. So sad, and after you seemed to enjoy the tour and thank me at the end.

We took three of our grandchildren on a mini vacay to Harper's Ferry..Our first plans made were to grab a bite to eat where we could have our little dog Chumbly be with us then having called and made a reservation prior to our trip we headed to the meeting spot to join Rick our guide and others wishing to join the adventure..We truly enjoyed the experience. Rick admits to being in love with history and mingles ghost and history into a lovely web..Only suggestion we would offer is it would be neat to walk and stop by more houses..The time on Hog Alley was our favorite..The children were enjoying greatly. as were my husband and I ..Fun dide note...Our dog Chumbly saw something that no one else did and barked at it..Another well behaved dog River must have seen it too.and bark a bit as well...They quieted down quickly. BUT we stilli wonder ..... What did they see?.That is something we all still talk about..

We'd done this tour years ago under the previous owner and tried it again this past weekend. Great decision!! Rick is an engaging, informative, and very entertaining storyteller. His singing talents are an added bonus! We spent an enjoyable almost 2 hours learning much more of the interesting history of this picturesque town along with the stories of its supernatural happenings as well. We've done lots of ghost tours and this one is not to be missed!! Be sure and wear comfortable shoes because you walking all over town.
