What a beautiful and precious place Our tour of the town seeded anew the amazing situations our country has come through. We ate at the Swiss Miss and Scoops. Also the coffee mill. All good. Finished the evening with the "ghost tour" a super fun group activity.

I have been on many ghost tours throughout the country. This one was the best I have EVER been on. Rick is friendly, knowledgable, and great fun. He teaches and wells as entertains and really keeps the group engaged. The stories were interesting and Rick is a master storyteller. Add to this the beauty of Harpers Ferry and this is... More

The tour was a great mix of Harpers Ferry history and ghost tales. Owner Rick added just the right amount of humor to his storytelling. And, he did a great job of engaging with the younger people on the tour.

Rick is an amazing story teller. Not only were the stories spooky and entertaining, but they provided a good history of Harper's Ferry. His historical dress and old railroad lantern helped bring the whole tour alive. I'd recommend bringing a bottle of water, especially during the hot summer months, as the tour takes 2 hours and you're outside walking around... More

We were very impressed with Rick. He was funny, talked to the whole group and the kids loved him as well. He really involved them which is always a plus. Got some great pictures. This is worth it. Fun and very informative. A lot of things happened in Harpers Ferry take the tour and let Rick tell you. Very happy... More

My whole family took the tour, and I must say it was awesome! The kids thought it was great (an 11, two 10s, and a 6 year old) and are begging to go back and hear it again. Rick was an amazing guide..very engaging, funny and spooky at just the right times. It isn't just ghost stories, though. You get... More

Okay doing a ghost tour before you actually tour Harper's Ferry may sound crazy, but in this case- it is perfect. This tour is so well crafted that you will gain a tremendous understanding of the history, events and people who lived in this town from the time of the Civil War onward. When you come back the next morning... More

Have done this tour hosted by different individuals several times over the years and this was undoubtedly the best. The host is a talented singer, raconteur and historian. My nine-year old grandson was totally involved and ... well, walking back to the car, in the dark, was done with great trepidation.

Our entire family enjoyed the tour and history of the area!! Guide was super knowledgeable about the entire area; including great info. about surrounding places to eat and Shepherd University.

The scariest part was walking back to the car. Alone. In the dark. Down Hog Alley. He's an excellent story teller!! True historian. Worth every penny.
