Harper’s Ferry is an unbelievable experience!

The Point at Harper’s Ferry is an amazing view. Two rivers converging with mountains, historical rail lines, nature, and spectacular photo ops everywhere! I can’t emphasis enough how cool all of Harper’s Ferry is.! Spend an afternoon exploring this small slice of history and awesomeness.

Highly recommend

So Much to See
Apr 2021
This beautiful spot where the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers meet is also a treasure trove of historical relevance. There is a railroad trestle on one side and pilings from an old bridge on the other. The site of the old U.S. Arsenal is directly behind. Just a gorgeous spot, and well worth the short walk to take it all in.

I like this point because you do get to see the river, read historical information on that part and see a good part of the lower town

Worth a view to see where the rivers meet. Much prettier when the weather is warmer. Lots of dogs; great place for a walk. Watch parking - National Park was writing tickets!

Beautiful Location with Positive Energy
Jul 2020
The point is a place where the waters of both the Potomac and Shenandoah River meet. It is a great place for photo's and selfies with the beautiful backdrop. My husband and I were able to sit on the benches and watch the sunset here in early July and it was a beautiful moment. The energy that you can feel from the continuous running water is one that all must experience!

This is a must do when in Harpers Ferry - gorgeous view. I would across the bridge to see the trailheads of 3 trails together.

Nice view

A beautiful view of the river and Maryland Heights. Don't expect a panorama view as the Shenandoah River is obstructed. The Winchester and Potomac Bridge is located beside this area and is a cool old bridge.
