Beautiful part of the park. The water was high and fast. Very, very windy day so walking across the railroad bridge was spectacular. The views really are amazing.

We enjoyed just hanging here a bit, watching some kids swimming and seeing all the tubers, rafters and kayakers go by. The view of the two rivers and mountain ranges are worth the stop. I wouldn't skip it if you are in the park, easy...More

This is the must-see spot in town. We were pleasantly surprised at the number and variety of people visiting this historic place.

Yes, you go to the point to see where the three states and the Shenandoah and Potomac meet. However, on the day we were there, the rivers were both running fast and muddy. The massive rain falls in the previous days had caused the rivers...More

The Point is where the Potomac and the Shenandoah rivers meet along with an old canal. This is also where three states meet: Maryland, Virginia and of course West Virginia. It is right along the Appalachian Trail and you can easily take the footbridge across...More

If you're in Harper's Ferry, you'll probably walk here at the end of the historic township. It's where the Shenandoah meets the Potomac, and the footbridge of the Appalachian Trail crosses from West Virginia to Maryland.

This is an actual triangular point, where you can stand and view the meeting of the fast moving Potomac River coming in from the left and mixing with the waters of the slower moving Shenandoah River coming in from the right. It is also the...More

Great views of the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers where they meet, but little else. Some benches and displays.

Get your photo taken on the Appalachian Trail on this site where 3 states converge. Cross the walking bridge and say you walked to Maryland via the Appalachian Trail!!

I have gone in at Harpers Ferry and The Point. Not very deep at Harpers Ferry, across from the bookstore. I have just walked down to the water and gotten in. Be mindful of the inner tubers or kayak people.
