What could be more fun than standing in an orchard with hundreds of cherry trees filled with red ripe cherries! Umm wonderful. We filled our buckets and tummies. We will be back for more. Other fruits ripen through the summer. Thank you so much!

Early apples - dutchess, dudley - are almost ready. It'll be another month to 6 weeks before apples that have familar names will be ready. If you want to skip the Apple Festival crowds, Hausers, and all the orchards, have their apples picked (or pick your own) the weekend before - Sept 30 and Oct 1 this year. Any earlier than that, you'd have to check Hauser's web page.
