Jen, JoJo, and Tony were terrific guides. They explained how to operate the sleds, how they care for and train the dogs, and what to expect along the way. We had a great time meeting the dogs. It was interesting to see the dogs transition from quiet critters just hanging out into the barking and excited sled dogs ready to run.

Phenomenal Experience!! From ease of booking, responsiveness of host with perfect directions and instructions .... to expert guides Chris and JoJo, who are passionate about what they do and are clearly devoted caretakers of their dogs and equally dedicated to the safety and comfort of guests. Provided hand & toe warmers, and nifty mitts. Dogs were EAGER, and a 'look back' as we were sledding showed absolute DELIGHT on their faces. Trailside snack was Yummy and served on a "Snofa" ~ you'll just have to go to see what That is, LOL!!!

This was one of the “funnest” activities I’ve ever done and definitely the best winter activity. The weather was great (about 16°) and the dogs were lean, mean running machines. (That’s just an expression! They are lovable and friendly!) Jen (the owner) and JoJo (the other guide) put us through our paces and had us harness the teams, showed us the techniques of operating the sled and then we went for miles through forest trails. When we got back we unharnessed the dogs and fed them their “turkey soup.” I’d do this again in a heartbeat. You can tell that Jen and JoJo love the dogs and what they do. When we got back to our hotel, we watched “Togo” on Disney+ and kept the experience going!

We took the dog sled lessons last month and WOW what an unbelievably great experience! Loved that it was very interactive, from feeding the beautiful dogs before and after the trip, to learning how to harness and drive a team. It was obvious the lucky pooches were having the time of their lives too! Oh yeah, midway through the run, you also get to have a cool little picnic in the prettiest setting. Thank you for sharing your knowledge - your love for the animals and the sport was absolutely contagious. Can't wait to go again next year - we'll be bringing family and friends!

This was one of the best times my family and I have ever had, and would recommend it to anyone. Our guides were super organized, congenial, informed and in love with their wonderful dogs. I was a bit apprehensive to undertake such an adventure, but after meeting the dogs and sensing and seeing the expertise of the Wolfsong team, I felt totally relaxed and brave enough to even help with the mushing. Besides being able to partake in this age-old tradition in our modern world, it was breathtaking and refreshing to glide along in the silence and peace of the wonderous North Woods. I am grateful to Wolfsong's determination to preserve this for us all. Thank you, Jen and Chris!

This is the best adventure to have during a polar vortex in Wisconsin! Jen provides super warm musher mitts and boots so you barely notice the temps. So fun to meet & greet the dogs, help harness them up and head out into the woods on well-groomed trails. Jen is an excellent guide and she shows great care for us and the dogs. Love this!

Want a great mushing experience? We harnessed dogs, drove sleds, glided through the woods in deep snow, and dished out a warm meal to the dogs after our trip. Our guides were super knowledgeable and excellent teachers, and they made sure that our entire group, from kids to grands, had the best experience possible. Highly recommended! Thank you, Wolfsong!

I thoroughly enjoyed the Wolfsong dog sledding adventure. We were able to meet the dogs, put on their harnesses and then hook each team of 4 to the sleds. After a quick lesson on how to control the sled we were off onto beautiful wooded trails. I was happy I had my own sled for the maximum amount of interaction but the sleds are also set up for passengers if you want a more relaxed ride. The mushers are friendly, knowledgeable and excited about their sport. They answered all my questions. This experience was well worth the money and the drive out to their location.

This was my 21st time on a dog sled. Appreciated the obvious high quality of connection and care for the dogs shared by all. Appreciated the option for complete immersion in the experience; harnessing, setting up the sleds, riding and driving.

The guides JoJo, Jenn and Chris all provided upfront instructions for differing trail sections and made useful adjustments along the way. Night run was pure magic with headlamps off and just letting our teams float us over the snow, as Chris suggested. Most of the kennel dogs are white and at night against snow it is like having spirit dogs lead the way. MAGICAL!

We had a great time! The ride through the woods was so beautiful and peaceful and the dogs were so happy to be pulling us on our sleds. A delightful lunch of a hot pasty (meat pie) and a hot drink was provided midway through the ride. The staff was friendly and patient with us novices. Overall a great, very memorable experience was had.
