A hidden gem of the Northland. The groomed trails of Mt. Ashwaybay wind through a truly beautiful winter wonderland. The wooded landscape is varied and provides a wide range opportunities for different skill levels. The trail along Pike's Creek is not groomed in my experience,...More

We cruised around the cross country trails forever, and felt like we were steadily climbing the whole time-because we were. Our long trek through beautiful woods ended with us at the top of the downhill ski hill!! Tricky on cross country skis, but so thrilling!

I went hiking here this winter. There hasn't been much snow so the ski trails aren't well groomed yet. The connecting Jerry Jolly hiking trails go along the creek. There is a terrific foot path with beautiful views.

Great cross country skiing with good ski trail grooming. Watch out for the big downhill when you start, but nice rolling terrain afterward. And the best part-dogs ski free, but $5 fee for everyone else. These trails connects with the Mt Ashwabay trail network which...More
