This was a great walk and talk. Our guide kept all ages interested. You can enjoy this for your interest in the paranormal, or just take it as a nice series of stories and buildings which make the history of Bayfield Wi. come to life.

We took the Cemetery ghost story evening, however when we got there our guide directed us all back to the museum in town as they were worried about the weather. At the museum, she set up with the benches there, some additional chairs and pillows. The stories were great and she was a wonderful storyteller. Our daughters were 11 and... More

Hi Stephanie, Thank you for your review. Yes, I was also disappointed that we moved the storytelling from the cemetery--especially since we only had a small amount of rain--we could have brought out umbrellas for that. Glad that you enjoyed the stories. I just got back from Sault Ste. Marie where I visited my friends who do the Twilight History... More

I wanted to love this experience and I did think the tour guide was sweet, but much of this was boring and a waste of time. Some interesting historical facts but nothing really worth noting about ghosts. I guess I would opt for a historical tour next time as I found some of the houses and church's and architecture to... After having been to a ghost tour quite awhile back in New Orleans which was more fiction than reality, this was not quite the same level. The guide was knowledgeable but very "just the facts" or "only by verified accounts of actual people" in her presention. Informative but not too scarey. The lanterns were fun but it wasn't really dark.... More

The best park about visiting Bayfield is the free parking at the Chamber of Commerce grass parking lot. And the bathrooms right next door. What a great little town.

Fun! Anything that can keep the attention of our two teens for more than an hour is great. We carried lanterns on the tour which added to the mistique. The walk didn't seem too difficult or long. The 90 minutes goes by quick with lots of stops to rest and listen to the tour guide, I wish I had remembered... More

These booklets are a must have when visiting Bayfield, WI. They will informatively guide you to all the 'must see' locations in the lovely lakeside village of Bayfield, with all attractions being within walking distance. There are currently 2 books available: Vol.1, A Walk Up Washington Avenue - Vol. II, A Stroll Down Rittenhouse Avenue. Highly recommended for the first... More

my husband and had a wonderful time with this experience. the tour guide was dressed in period costume and the group was small (this may have been because we were there in Fall) so it allowed us to ask quite a few questions. the walk was pleasant and not tiring at all (we are in our 60s); it lasted about... I took the new cemetery walk, it was fun, interesting historical perspective of past women, and men of the Bayfield area who had a great impact on local history. Great for kids, and families! I do the tours every year!!! New stories and tour guides give me new perspectives! Thanks! Keep up the great work!!!
