Our family of four decided to attend this Ghost Walk on a whim, we did not have advance tickets just walked up and paid when we arrived (side note, cash is necessary for this). The lanterns were a nice touch and we head off with a very cheeky and knowledgeable tour guide. There…

This was a very fun and informative walking tour. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Bayfield and we were able to see many of the buildings that are known to have spirits living in them to this day! The lanterns we were able to carry were a nice added…

Nice tour by Maude, small group. Interesting history if the "haunted" locations. We just walked up prior to the start time, no advance tickets needed.

The ghost walk tour started at 8:15 PM and was 1.5 hours long, walking 1 mile with a nice tour guide. The idea was to talk about the places that have ghosts but the guide was very interesting when she talked of the history of Bayfield as well as the "ghosts".

We found it boring. She is a good story-teller for children but as adults, we were sorry we wasted $30. If you want your children to feel a little bit of Halloween, this might work for them. The little bit of history was the only good part.

Greetings bpandco, Thank you for coming to Bayfield and for choosing to go on the Ghosts and Legends of Old Bayfield walk. I am sorry that the walk did not meet your expectations. We do have many families who take that walk although it is not geared specifically for children. Our guide has had many excellent reviews for her work as you can see in the other posted reviews on TripAdvisor. All of the stories told on the walk are true, really happened to the people who have reported their experiences to us. We do not alter or sensationalize them. I hope that you will come to Bayfield again, the "Best Little Town in the Midwest." Virginia Hirsch, Owner, Bayfield Heritage Tours.
