Margarette Falls, Nestled in the Cherokee national Forest which is part of the Appalachian Mountain Range never disappoints. The hike is a little more challenging to fall since we had the flood in 2001 but well worth the effort. Bring shoes that can handle water....More

This is a lovely hike with some hills and rocks to navigate. I love taking our dog on this hike. There is a water crossing, so be sure to wear shoes you can get wet, especially if the water is up after rain or snow.

Lovely place to hike in East Tennessee. It is a moderate hike, crossing water but well worth the time. Gorgeous and romantic waterfall.

The falls are gorgeous and it's a wonderful place to relax and let your mind enjoy God's creation. The hike is not bad for teens and adults, but too difficult for young children.

Nice place to take a short hike. The day we was there you had to be careful to watch for sun bathing snakes. The falls was nice.

If they are in decent shape. The only spot that would be tricky is the second river crossing. Most kids would do it no problem because they like to hop across rocks and the water isn't deep if they don't keep their footing... More
