During the week I spent in Garapan, I had three massages ($20 ea) - Tina was very professional, and had a great massage. Great for back pain relief, sore muscles from hiking Saipan, My wife had a pedicure and I also had a hair cut by Rhea. Great experience. We highly recommend this place.

Spa located right behind Hard Rock Cafe in Garapan

I went to this Spa for a therapeutic massage and body scrub. The therapist, Nora, was nice enough and seemed to know what she was doing and took pride in her job. During the body scrub, I noticed she was rubbing quite fast, repetitively and with pressure particularly on my leg. In the beginning, I asked her to do a light to medium scrub as I have sensitive skin. Within 8 hours of the treatment, I started to notice small puss-filled blisters on the back of my knee. During the next 24-36 hours, these blisters multiplied and became more painful. Due to this worsening condition, I was forced to cut my Vacation short in order to seek medical attention in the U.S. Upon landing in the U.S., I went to the Emergency Room, where I was diagnosed with a severe skin infection called 'Impetigo'. Repeated attemtps to reach the Tropical Island Spa in Saipan have thus far gone unanswered.
