I don't usually do these sort of tours but my wife fancied it so we went and booked. The Tour guide was really knowledgeable on films made in the area from Bullet to The Towering Inferno Mrs Doubtfire Dirty Harry down to areas where the never caught Zodiac killer was spotted from an upstairs window. This was one of the best tours in my life. It regarded 66 most famous of some 600 movies shot in San Francisco. Even serving only 3 Persons as audience, AJ and her driver gave a stellar performance with love of subject. It's a thrilling ride to real locations of famous visual illusions called motion pictures. Thanks a thousend that... More

It was a lot of fun seeing San Francisco while viewing clips from some of the many movies that have been shot in the city. Our guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We brought home our list of movies from the tour so that we can watch (or rewatch as the case may be) them after we return home.

Over 80 movies are covered - many are classics from before the turn of this century. While the 3 hour tour is predominantly on a small bus, there are a few opportunities to get off and take close up shots (like the painted ladies from Full House, the Golden Gate Bridge, and Mrs. Doubtfire's house). Enjoyable way to see the... More

This particular tour was very high on my to-do list in San Francisco and I have to say that it totally fulfilled my expectations. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, personable, and was quick to accommodate all the guests on the tour. Since it was a rather small group, it was quite a contrast to the Hop-on/ Hop-off type tour... More

Great way to see many of the move scenes etc, but also just a great way to see the city. Had a fantastic guide who was very friendly and really knowledgable.

This small-bus tour was a comprehensive overview of most of the neighborhoods in SF. Even though I had not seen all the movies referenced on the tour, our guide AJ was so well versed in the details of the film makers, actors an scenes that all of the clips came alive for me. Even though I live here, this is... More

Well worth the inexpensive cost. Great Staff, both tour guide and driver, friendly, jovial and accommodating. AJ the guide is filled with astounding movie facts and information, as well as offering interesting tid bits about San Fransisco City itself. HIGHLY recommended, would happily return and do it again. 👍🏻😊

I chose this tour after another plan fell through and I'm glad it worked out that way! Marie was a great guide, very friendly and entertaining and the tour ticked off just about everything on my San Francisco bucket list in one go.

Staying in Financial District

Neighborhood Profile
Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s version of Wall Street. The rush of business people make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of historic and contemporary architecture, including the iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours, bars and restaurants quickly fill up with happy hour revelers. Stocks aren’t the only kind of market being followed, the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero is a gourmet food emporium and farmers market that will satisfy anyone working up an appetite.
